Add to the fact that Patrick Kerney is no longer with us. He opted out of the last 2 years of his contract with Atlanta to get a $40 or $50 mill. long term deal. We did not offer him that kind of money because he is in his 30's and he tore his peck. That will take a long time to heal and leaves no real assurance that he well be the same.

Ya I agree with you Sherwin that Vick is a scramble first QB. And those type of QBs will never accel in the NFL. Vick has taken the Falcons to the maximum of his ability, to the NFC Championship game.
But I bet the Falcons feel so dumb for letting Schaub walk away. He was said to be the best backup in the league last year. I havent really seen him play other than a few pre-season snaps last season, but he looked like a textbook QB

Actually in retrospect it was a win win because the Falcons fot a few draft picks for Schuab, who was going to be a FA anyways. At least they got something out of it, but the problem is now they are going to go with Harrington. Falcon fans I feel your pain I'M A RAIDER FAN! Nobody has suffered more in these last several seasons than us, so at least I know what you guys are going for.

Mark this down Vick will never win the Super Bowl as a starting QB in the NFL his style is purly fit for the college game. The Falcons basically jsut craped on $100 million +.
