Meet my Asian Cup player of the tournament: Yasser Al-Qahtani

OK firstly....I like Arabs about as much as I like the hair growing out of my a$$...however....give credit where credit is due....

Enter Yasser Al Qahtani....The 25 yr old SNIPER!

After watching him score against Tunisia in the World Cup.....after watching him play in all of the Asia Cup group matches....then again in the QF and Semi Finals....Ive come to the conclusion...his fantastic!! His like what Karimi was 4 years ago!... What a player!

His passing is superb....his fast....has a keen eye for goal....and two final things I admire about him the most.....his a great captain and always encouraging his players....but also the fact that even when the ball is not near him his always working hard....just like our man Hash.

I really think he deserves the player of the tournament prize and hope he does well against Iraq. I really enjoy watching him play.

Putting the age old Arab vs Persian thing aside...do you also think his been the player of the tournament?

he is no where near as good as karimi four years ago.
yaser is a very good player and because of making it to the final he will get the mvp of this cup for sure. otherwise if japan had come up takahara would win it.
I think takahara and nakazawa were great. nakamura was good
younis mahmood, nashat akram, hawar mullah mohammad are also contenders.

I like iraq, kuwait, oman. they have more class than saudi, bahrain, qatar.
I hate saudi team, but I have to admit them and japan have been the most impressive teams of the tournament.

Back to the football...I think Karimi 4 years ago wouldve been among the top 30 players in the world in my opinion.....all that before his iPod ruined his life

Al-Qatani is easily the best player in the AC. He will be why Arabistan wins the cup this year.

Yasser Al-Qahtani is a very talented player, but what stops me from liking him is his diving:

Although the best fair players Ive seen are Kaka and Ronaldinho.
