I think this is quite Facinating...Irans Volleyball

Ive been looking at our volleyball now and looking around and seeing how we are going...

You know whats really funny and amazing at the same time....

Looking at the official site of World Volleyball our YOUTH And junior National team of Volleyball is ranked 3rd in the Whole world....

We got a bronze in the recent u21 World Championships, aswell as having a Bronze and a Silver in u19 World Level in the last 5 years....

But when you look at our Senior team we are ranked 22nd which is pretty dissepointing knowing we have 1 of the best youth teams but cant turn that sucess into Senior level sucess...

We have the Senior World Cup coming up very soon in Mexico....
Our u21s have just come out of becoming 3rd in the recent u21 World Cup and will not hope to FINALLY get some sucess in the World Stage...

I cant wait...i love volleyball and i hope we can turn all that youth sucess to Senior sucess.....

1 of Irans players from the U21 squad got rathed 2nd best young player in the World...

1 Question, Imagine if we achieved these kind of things in Soccer we are in Volleyball and Basketball..its scary

Anywayz thought id share that with you guys and lets hope we get can do well in the coming World Cup...

Our youth team is up there amongst the top 3 with Brazil and Cuba while our Senior team lies in 22nd.... Atleast we can say the future is bright in this sport

Dominant on the club lever we are aswell...

Peykan won the 2007 Asian Club Championships winning 7 matches to the Final only dropping 2 sets....

They beat Saudi Arabias Al-Hilal 3-0 in sets to crown themselves Champions..

I love being dominant in Basketball and Volleyball over all these arabs...Its soo sweet haha

FIVB Ranks Irans Volleyball League as 1 of the strongest in the World Standing at 7th Best League in the World...

Irans strongest clubs at the moment are Zobahan of Isfahan and Asian Champions Peykan

Well what our Volleyball has achieved is like our Soccer wins following...


Sepahan becomes Asian Champions League winners.....Best club in Asia

Irans U17 Youth team finishes 3rd in a Youth World Cup.. Atm We havent made a youth World Cup for a while let alone finishing 3rd.....

Our U21s gets Silver and Bronze in youth World Cups, Once again We havent seen our U21 Soccer team in World Cups for a while either.....

2 Youth World Cups AND 2 Seniors World Cups hosted in Tehran

And..

IPL Being Ranked 7th best league in the World



Our Soccer hasnt even achieved 1% of that yet...lol...

Whats our Volleyball and Basketball Federations really doing so well that our soccer isnt?

since iran's population is mostly youth, thats the main reason we are succesfful in junior sport.
Volleyball and basketball are indoors and cost much less than soccer to operate which is a good thing for iran because the gov doesn't like spending money on sport
