Chris bosch wont make the all star game because there are too many other good players that are better than him.
Jalen Rose's family lives in a city just outside of atlanta called alpharetta, same city as me. whitney houston (her daughter went to my middle school), usher, and many other celebs live. Most celebs live in a neighborhood called the country club of the south, down the street from me, but the rose family lives in a different subdivision around the corner from where i live. I would tell you the name, but itll be too specific. His son's name is Dee, short for LaDarius, btw. Goes to The Marist School.
youre right, its beyond amazing. if it wasnt amazing, he wouldnt be the 2nd player in almost 100 years to do something like this.

thats cause nobody wants to be seen as such a selfish player, except kobe, who doesnt care. There have been plenty of players capable of putting up such numbers at theire prime

Actually, Jordan was in his 2nd year, he wasnt a rookie.

And why are you such a Kobe hater nyc3469? What Kobe did vs the Raptors is arguably the best performance ever, and the only thing you can say is negative and hate on Kobe. This shows that you are not a realistic person and that you are stubborn. I hate Karl Malone with all my guts, I even hated him when he was with the Lakers, but I still respect him and know that he is one of the best power forwards to ever play. At least you can show some respect to Kobe, nobody has ever scored 81 points, and nobody ever will, unless Kobe does it himself.

You are nagging about Kobe shotting 46 times, so what? He was 61% from the field. I dont know if you are aware, but 61% from the field is absouletly INCREDIABLE, especially for a shooting guard. Kobe is a guard, most of his points come from jumpers, not layups and dunks like Wilt or Shaq.

He was on fire that night, so why should he stop shooting? Ya he shot 46 times, but every shot he took practically went in, so why should he stop?

well, wilt chamberlain scored 100, so it has been done.

I am a kobe hater because its not just that night were he shoots so much, he shoots a rediculous number like that all the time, and thats being a ball hog. I hate ball hogs.

Thank you Vince Carter! (i never thought id say that)

                  http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/5275220

Carter warns kids: Don't be like Kobe

                  Who's thinking about the children?

                  Well, apparently Vince Carter.

In the aftermath of Kobe Bryant's 81-point explosion Sunday night, Carter told the Newark Star-Ledger that the second-highest scoring performance in NBA history might not set a good example for young players.

"The only bad thing about it is that younger kids, whose minds are easily warped, are going to think, 'Ohhh! I am going to go out there and do it instead of (honoring) the team concept first,'" the Nets' star told the newspaper. "That is what is missing in the game, guys understanding how to play as a team."

Carter went on to say, "I think it is great for (the NBA): They want scoring, they want ratings, and you are going to get that. You are definitely going to get them now with the amount of 50-point games, 60-plus games. I just hope that kids and young guys understand that (only) special guys can do that. Yeah, the (other Lakers) were trying to get Kobe the ball, they wanted to see a special night. But they all know their roles."

The criticism comes from an interesting source.

Last season, Carter ranked just behind Bryant in shots attempted per game (Bryant took 20.1 shots per game, while Carter took 20.0). And Carter is still among the league leaders in that category this year at 19.0 shots per game, although he's well behind Bryant, who leads the NBA at 27.7 shots per contest.

You wouldn't think VC would be saying that!

except that he shot DAMN well!

If you have a player with the ability of Kobe Bryant, you should get him the ball every possession, and hope he's double teamed to open up some room for the other lakers. If he's not double-teamed, well...we see what happens.
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

Thats great he scored 81 points but it dont mean a thing without a ring!

I know he has 3 but he will never get another one playing like that.

Once again TOP 10 reasons KOBE is not a big deal:
                          1. he's a ball hog
                          2. his attitude is shitty
                          3. broke up a great team cuz of his ego and jealousy
                          4. plays for himself and not the team
                          5. he scored against a weak team 13-27, man that is below 500 team
                          6. jordan scored against the best team, in the playoff , in his second year, now thats worth praising.
                          7. it wasnt a playoff game and the second and third highest in the team had 13 and 4 points...
                          8. how many assists did he have in the game???? Only 2!!! OH yea thats rite cuz he scored all the god damn point.

                          9. IT DONT MEAN A THING WITHOUT A RING!
                          10. In 1996 the bulls won 72 games out of 82 and they were without a doubt the greatest but they all agreed that stats and record DONT MEAN A THING WITHOUT A RING!

                          PEACE!

All i have to say is Iverson overall is still a better player in my eyes. His team sucks (except maybe chris webber) yet he still assists. That shows that he's true teamplayer. Imo assists are worth just as much points are, that means if player has 8 assists its as if he has 16 points(not including 3's). IVERSON IS CURRENTLY THE BEST NBA PLAYER. PERIOD!!!!!

yea its either iverson or garnett. but come on, iverson has chris webber, kyle korver, and iguodala to pass to not just webber.

even thought Ive always hated Kobe 81 points is INSANE I gotta give it to him very well done by him HOWEVER... if McGrady, Iverson, James, or Carter wouldve taken this many shots they couldve also possibly achieved this but well done to Kobe who actually did it!!! I still like T-MAC.
