The game was set to be televised from years ago when they 2 teams agreed to play each other. Last year it was on NBC b/c the game was in south bend and this year its in pasedena so it will be on ABC. 90,000 tickets were sold for the game by the beginning of summer.

P.S. Do you know the answer to my Q in post 372? Thanks.

thanks. Yeah, I hate this regional sh!t on ABC. in 1998, UCLA was 9-0 ranked first in the BCS and had a game against USC with a 7 game winning streak (agianst SC) going into the game and I had to go to san fran and I tried to watch the game only to find out they were showing a crappy stanford-cal game (both sucked at the time).
As a result I missed deshaun foster's 4 touchdown outing as UCLA beat USC 34-17 for an 8 game winning streak against them. I guess that jinxed it since after that SC won 7 in a row up till last year

I am sure they will show your game in the area around purdue but as far as the rest of indiana i guess its all ND all the time.

Speaking of that 1998 season I dont know if you were a fan back then but that year The best team by far was OSU and if it wasn't for a surprising loss to MSU they would have been in that BCS championship for sure. After both UCLA and KSU lost in the last day, I couldn't believe FSU slipped past OSU for the championship game. I am sure that would saved coop's job

The #1 thing I HHAAAATTTTEEE about this stupid Cfootball system: Losing late vs. losing early!! It almost made USC loss at oregon state irrelevant last year. If they had beat us, they would have been in the chanmpionship b/c their one loss was "early"

We should for sure but check this out . I'm abut to move in like a few months hopefully, so I don't want to get XBOX live just yet and get burned. I'm probably going to move by like the end of the year to Arcadia. I'll get xbox live then and we can battle some NCAA football and some Madden once I get the game.

I'll tell you this much straight ahead if you can't stop the option attack you are going to lose big time. If you can stop the option, it's going to be a ground and pound game along with some well timed play action passes. On pass plays I love to motion the HB and toss it to him, and also use the TE's a lot. Thos big boys might not have break away speed, but if you have a TE with hands that's all you need. He'll git you this five to ten yards you need for the first down every time. On defense I generally like to blitz a lot and if someone uses a scrambling Qb, I'll put a spy on him. I normally stick to the traditional 4-3.

I'm just telling you that if you are good it's not going to be a cakewalk. I'm not saying I'm going to win because I can't guarantee you that but if I lose it won't be a blowout. I'm just letting you know that you are not playing with a beginner. I've been playing NCAA football since it first came out on PS2 NCAA football 2002.

Ya that's why they should have something to curtail that like implimenting an eight team playoff system. You can get six seats for the major conference champions and two at large births. This way a team like Boise State last year could probably go up against #1 Ohio State and have a chance at winning the national chamionship.

A loss early in the season should not be any different from a loss late in the season. The problem is we have so much emphasis on these dam rankings and BCS system that this is not the case. The biggest college duschebag is Mike Trangee(sp?) Commissioner of the Big East. this idiot is the master mind behind the BCS system and is the biggest supporter of it.

Furthermore the deans of thsoe schools are not going to agree on this because the $hitty teams wil complain that they can't play in a bowl game anymore. Well what you could do to curtail that is to still have thos bowl game available fpr those smaller programs. Now for the big boys you can replace those bcs games and have the same payout if you make it to the playoffs. Each round win you should get X numbe rof dollars for your school. You can still play these games in the traditional places like the Rose Bowl an dthe Sugar bowl etc.

My strong point is my defense. And I attack from all different formitions, 3-4,4-3,cover 2...everything. On offense, I'm more traditional run-the-ball, Joe Gibbs style type of coach. But I'll bring the big play out here and there. I pretty much know Florida's plays inside and outside.

I don't normally use the 3-4 but I like to use different formations to throw people off like 4-3, or the 46, or sometimes the nickle and dime package if it's 3rd and forever.

On offense I like to mix it up with a lot of short percision passes and consistent five or more yard runs to break down the defense. If I see someone stick 8 in a box I'll check to my WR and make him go deep if it's 1-1 with the CB. I like to be the wr and actually CATCH THE BALL. I hate it when fags like to play "huck for luck" and let the computer catch it!

There are ways arround it but to me that's the cheap way to get yards and touchdowns. Fortunately on Heisman mode you can't get away with it as much. If you play Varsity your WR will come up with it like 90% of the time. I just finished one season on All American with Michigan State and beat Virginia Tech in the NC game. I had to schedule USC, LSU, TEXAS and ND for my non conernce, adn beat Wiscy, OSU and Michigan to climb up from like rank in the 50's t #1.

*I simulated five games IU, Northwestern, Purdue, Iowa, and Penn St, because they were not ranked when I played them. I kind of don't like playing against non ranked teams. I would beat down those good ranked teams like 63-7 so I think I'm ready for Heisman.
I just had the game for two days so now I'm going to try and master Heisman mode.

Once again Steve Spurrier shows his superiority in the SEC.
15-0 all time record against the Wildcats.

Eric Norwood tied an NCAA mark with two touchdowns on fumble returns.

South Carolina should move into the top 10 for the first time since 2001.
