We lost to Georgia, but the SEC East is still open. And we have a shot at winning it.
LSU has a VERY good chance of losing in the SEC title game. I'm sorry but if Ohio St plays LSU or Oregon they will get smashed. Oregon wasted two teams that at least on paper have a lot of tallent(U of M and USC). Dennis Dixon is the real deal and that Running Back(whatever his name is ) is the most underrated guy in college football. even I don't know his name but the kid is a beast and breaks tackles like the defenders are some division 3 college team.

Dixon is also in the mold of a Vince Young except he is a few steps faster and he is more accurate I believe at this point in his career(compared to Vince Young's senior year). At this point in his career Dixon is also a much better play caller than VY aka Super Man.

MSU still has a good running game and an explosive offense. If thier defense can play like they did against Ohio State we would be money.
By the way this year alone Mighty #5 ranked Michigan lost to App State @ the Big House, so they are fully capable of losoign to anyone.
I will guarantee you one thing MSU is going to be JACKE UP to play Michigan and finally beat them. It would do wonders for our recruiting and you always have A CHANCE in any game.
I didnt say unranked. Many times you have a winning record but you are unranked. I am talking about teams in the BOTTOM of the big 10. I mean teams with losing records. How often do you see Indiana beat MIchigan or OSU??

Well the bottom feeders of the Big 10 ie IU and Northwestern never stand a chance agiasnt the upper echilon teams ie Michigan and Ohio State, so in that regards I accept this argument. Right now mSu is on hard times but generally speaking they are a middle of the pack Big 10 team like Purdue, and Minnesota and Iowa.

Middle of the pact teams like Iowa, Purdue, Minnesota, and Michigan State can beat an upper echilon teams Ohio State and Michigan if they play good football.

northwestern won the big 10 a while ago w/ that hurry up offense, then the one year they were a real contender as well.....big 10's better than people think, people always talk about the SEC but how many times has wisconsin beat an SEC team in a bowl game the past few yrs?

I didnt say NW he did!! I didnt say NW because they went to the rose bowl in 1995 (lucky for SC and keyshawn who had a field day against the ugly purple). I mean Indiana, minnesota, iowa , teams like that

indiana's a basketball school (how odd is it that kentucky may win the SEC?) who produced a antwan randle el and who may possibly become bowl eligitble..... up until we beat iowa last yr iowa was a contender and always is in a very tough place to play (i was there last yr, it's tough!)..... minnesota isnt all that tho (altho they did hav laurence maroney to do some damage)

but look at the big 12, baylor? kansas?they're the SEC's kentucky this yr, a bball school w/ alucky year....SEC has vanderbilt, ole miss, miss st.... big east has UCONN (another kentucky lol), syracuse.....pac 10 has arizona and stanford, true they almost beat USC but we see how wack USC is this yr lol

every conference has their fair share of traditionally wack teams

Bro NW won teh title back in 1995 and it's 2007. Garry Barnett(SP?), the disgraced former CU coach, was still their head coach.

Now as for my upset of the week
                Alabama over LSU

IU has a great QB Kellen Lucas and their stud WR (I think his name is Davis). I'm surprised MSU of all teams were able to hold those two in check basically all game except for the first TD that Lucas busted a 60 yard + scramble. I was like waoh there goes Antwon Randel El part 2 as well.

Nah....I think LSU blows em out. We're gonna blow out Vandy. Hopefully we can get our backup Cameron Newton in to give Tebow a little rest.

I don't know dude John Parker Wilson has been playing good ball and Alabama has a stingy defense like LSU. It's going to be about which qb can produce more Flynn (LSU QB) or JPW(BAMA). I actually think this is going to be a bang em up defensive battle in which Saban will come up and Bama will win by a FG. The score will either be 17-14or 23-30 to Bama.

LSU's defense is not as great as everyone hypes them up to be. Kentucky was the first offensive team they played with somewhat of a ballance between the passing game and running game. They were able to muster up an impressive 375 yards. Bama's offense has been getting it together on the air lately goiing for over 630 passing yards in a two game span. This is nothing for a pac 10 team but Bama is traditionally known as physical team that runs and wins with defense(remember when they had Shaun Alexender)?

Saban is doing a great job at transforming Bama to a modern day passing team but I didn't expect the transition to go this smoothly in the first year.

Northwestern is one of those teams where you think they are dead in the water and all of a sudden the bring up a good team. You're right I remember a few years ago they had a good team.

About like five years ago in the Bobby Williams era, we played them in Chicago and we were dominating the game. On the last play they got a Hail Mary on us and won in the last second. This was back when we had Jeff Smoker, TJ Duckett and Charles Rodgers.

Man if we had a half way decent coach that team could of played in the Rose Bowl. At leat on offense they had three five star players on the skill positions QB WR and RB.

The problem for Bobby Williams was that he could never get anything out of his good recruits, but the man knew how to recruit there is no question about that.

Stanford went to the rose bowl in the late 90's by winning the pac 10. Arizona had the best defense in the country in 1994 . IN the movie "speed" it even mentions their defense. In 1998 Arizona went 11-1 with their only loss to UCLA who won all of its 8 games in the pac 10. Thats what I mean. Now look at Minnesota and Indiana.
