i'm going to watch my NCAA basketball even though i'm not like a super crazy basketball or college basketball fan. football is boring anyway, i rather watch our beloved senior citizens playing bingo on ESPN which is much more exciting then football (American football)
but hey some people just like different sports! good luck and hope you make some $$$$$$ this year!
Ok sweetie I won't call you sweetie anymore. As Persianbruin pointed out you probably don't understand the game of football. I'm not knocking on you because if you don't understand the game it can be boring. Once you understand the game you will see why there are so many football fans. It is the ultimate chess match especially when you have a head coach who is offensive minded, who goes up agianst a head coach who is defensive minded. Once you learn the basics of the game trust me you will love it. You just need to give football a chance in fact I"m a good teacher. My friend Sara hated football just like you. I sat down with her a few games and taught her the basics. Now she loves football and she can't get enough of it.

Anyways if football is not your thing that's cool but at least give it a chance. I also can't wait for college basketball season to start by the way. I think Michigan State has a good chance of wining the big 10 and making it to at lesat the sweet 16. Last year we lost in the 2nd round to UNC. I freaking hate the Tarheels every time we meet in the tourney there is a 50/50 chance we go home. Sometimes we win and sometimes they win but the last two times they got the best of us. They knocked us out of the final four 2 years ago, and last year they knocked us out again.

I jsut know the game inside and out because I played it at a high level in high school, and I also watch a ton of college football. In fact if you want me to make some pics for you please lie me know I will be glad to help you out. I usually win about 70% of my games which is very good. I also only bet enough money so that if I lose I have no problems paying it back. The trick is that you need to know what your limits are and don't go above it.
I think Mizzou can be a dark horse in the Big 12 this year. Texas and OU are still obviously better but they can easily finishe 3rd or 4th in that conference. I don't know much about KU except their HC needs to get on a diet fast lol
na man unlike college basketball i dont follow college football all that closely...! perhaps because our local teams normally suck asss..
i am just hoping for mu and ku to win a couple of early games....then all these dumb asss fans pour in my store to buy up all their clothing...!! i tell you man...! you wont find suckers like them anywhere else in the country...! same goes for the kc chiefs..... they havent been to superbowl or win any playoff games in like 20+ years...but year after year...80,000 strong fans fill the stadium because they think this is the year they will win it all...

The coordinator is changed and new now and he is awesome!
i think by the bowl game...there are no freshmen on the field. they should all be experienced. If they made mistakes just one official game ago, how will that change? How is the new coordinator 'awesome' if he hasn't even coached one game?

              god damn annex

because I have seen him coach before as the offensive coordinator at nebraska and also from practice session reports. In 2001 before the season even started I heard from a lot of people that this new coach named pete carrol was pretty good evident by practices!!

UCLA offense was horrible last year. One of the worse in the nation. Mostly it was because of conservative playcallin, thats why the guy got the boot. In the bowl game several times the turnovers, and I dont mean regular turnovers, I mean really really stupid ones mostly by freshmen, gave the ball to the seminoles inside UCLA's red zone setting them up for easy scores. I think their avg starting spot was like UCLA's 48 yard line or something!!

i actually do understand the game dash, i know what's going on when i watch it and i don't think when a sport that goes to commercials like every 5 minutes is exciting, seems to me they care more about making money then broadcasting the match. it's like you watch more commercials then you watch the actual game. that's why i think it's boring and its like a stop and go game, they rush for few yards then it takes them 30 seconds to regroup and decide what play they want to go with. they kick or punt the ball then they go to commercial then comes back for few minutes back to commercial, just makes you want to pull your hair and make them stop. but unlike hockey you get less commercials, and you get to see guys hitting each other hard (which is called checking) and there is like "real fighting" and much more good stuff

and lets not forget the real football, there are no commercials and you get to enjoy a exciting sport. that is way way more popular then american football. sadly hockey isn't that famous either.

its a minds game. Its actually a matchup game. Truth is I grew up in Iran so I am a die hard football irooni fan since when I grew up I didnt know anything else!! I get BORED OUT OF MY FREAKING MIND nowdays watchin soccer, unless I am following up the leagues and the players.

But with american football i could have no idea about the 2 teams and their players, its still entertaining. soccer to football is like 5 card to texas holdem. With all of this said I guess we are all entitled to our opinions as people's taste is not something to argue about. Look at how many people actually enjoy watchin golf for god's sakes!!!

My dad went to MSU!! He played football for them back in 1966 when they won a national championship in that famous 10-10 tie agianst Notre Dame. That was the first time a #1 met the #2 team and it was the last game in east lancing. ND chickened out and made the extra kick instead of going for the 2 point conversion. The coash Ara Parsegian later on admited "MSU's defense would of stuffed us if we went for it."

I had an opportunity to go as a walk on at MSU but I didn't want to take the risk man. I took a partial academic scholarship to Cal Poly.I always wanted to go to State but out of state tuition was $45,000!

Florida Gators how original do you like the New York Yankees and the San Antonio Spurs as well? I'm just messing with you but why are you a UF fan when you live in VA beach?

Anyways you guys lost 21 SEINORS last year! It is going to be very hard for you guys to repeat when you need to replace 21 starting senoirs on your roster.

My momma lives in FL. So I adapted to liking them because my mom is down there...and plus...Percy Harvin is from Virginia Beach. And I've talked to him and stuff, so my support just shot off last year for Percy and the entire team.

As for the 21 seniors, I don't know what we are going to do this year, but we have alot talent from our last 2 recruiting classes and next year we have Emmanuel Moody coming. I think we have a better shot to win a national title next year than this year. But any year is a hard year in the SEC. Im just hoping to win the SEC East at least.

It wa a shocker tha Moody picked Florida because he was heavily leaning towards Oklahoma State. He even said, "It is only a three hour drive to my moms house." Everyone was anticipating Oklahoma State but he kind of shocked everyone with the Florida pick. Now as for Moody I don't think he alone can replace thsoe 21 seniors.

Remember bro recruiting is one thing but how those kids play in crunch time is anohter. There is nothing that can replace SENIOR LEADERSHIP I don't care how many 5 star recruits you have. Again Florida has a shot but I just don't see them repeating. Remember now they have the bullseye on their back jsut ask USC what that feels like. Finally on their 3rd year run Texas knocked them out. The USC situation is different though because their 2nd run they had a lot of key players returning like Leinart and Bush.

I think Florida will win the SEC East but they will lose to LSU in the SEC championship game.
