Big 10 mighth be down this year but SEC is the most overrated conference year in and year out because there is a southern bias in football.I just love how SEC fans think they are the Gods of college football and nobody can touch teams like Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU etc. I"m so glad Tennessee got waxed by Cal that should shut up that idiot Les Miles saying USC's schedule is a cakewalk. At least we don't play 3 weak a$$ teams like Louisana Monroe, Middle Tennessee St, and some other loser that is slipping my mind at the moment. Anyways they are so sorry that I don't remember them. At least USC is heading @ Nebraska because they have some guts. I got to give them props they actually have one hell of a schedule playing @ ND, @ Nebraska, @ Cal (three tough games.) ND always gets up to play agisnt USC in south bend so you can forget about the record.

IMO this yr there is no clear cut #1 after the first week, any team could really take out any team right now, it's gonna be a hell of a season this yr

You know what even if Michigan happens to beat MSU in East Lancing ask yourself what is worsse? MSU losing to Michigan in their house, or Michigan losing to App State? Typical Michigan fan finding excuses and never accepting the fact that App State just kicked your a$$. They weren't lucky dude App State played their a$$ off in that game. They were even leading 28-14 at one point so it's not like they all of a sudden had a fluke win. Mike Hart played well in that game but he was the only one who showed up.

Darnel Bing! He saved their National Championship season on that one play and elevated himself to like a 4th round pick(Raiders). Fresno St atcually played very well agaisnt USC and almost took it to them @ USC's house, which is not an easy thing to do. You should be proud of Fresno St's performance I remember that game vividly.

First of all to mojo: if you attend a school you are not called a "bandwagon" fan. You have the right to be called an actual fan!! Bandwagon is when you all of sudden support a champion team for a stupid reason, something like your grandma lives in the state that football team plays!!

Dude my USC friends bring that up all the time but they blame Reggie Bush for that stupid fumble. That is what really cost them that game if you go back he picked up the first down, but he wanted to make the play look spectacular.

You are totally right man about your bandwaggon fan. I have a right to cheer for UCLA because I go to their MBA school. Most of my friends don't even go to USC but they cheer for them becasue they have a good team. Now for my three buddies who actually go to USC, they deserve to call themselves Trojans because they attend the school. Now I never attended MSU but I applied to the school, and got accepted to their undergrad business school. My father went to MSU so that's why I care about the Spartans. My dad even played football at State so I have ties to the school. I was even offered a WALK ON opportunity for their football team, but I didn't go because they the coach at the time Bobby Williams, didn't want to give a full scholarship to me. Out of state tuition for MSU was $45,000 so my dreams of attending MSU ended right there. There will always be a special place in my heart though for MSU.

First of all, yes i admit, in the most part App state was whooping us apart. BUT man you can't tell me 2 blocked field goals is not unlucky?!?!

And just small note, Hart did not touch the ball for 2 quarters because of a thigh injury! And he still managed to get 188 yards and 3 touchdowns! now imagine how much different the game would have been with him on the field!

However, I was impressed by Jimmy Clausen, he played mature and stayed calm, I like him alot. He has the potential to be a great pocket passer.
