Thats why i went off!! in a different thread a guy who has never posted on such an old thread like this one comes and sounds off like this. I just dont appreciate it. We all root for different teams but so far have managed to keep a positive atmosphere here. all of a sudden a first timer goes in an unrelated thread and starts trash talkin

as for MSU I am sure they will go 4-0 next week. Big ten will be interesting in the last few weeks for sure
Bro forget it he he wants to trash talk let it be my friend. We UCLA guys know how to handle it with class. Anyways it was a very interesting college football weekend.

If you remember there was a huge fight last year @MSU against ND. I was there live on the sidelines for the 50th annaversery of the famous 1966 10-10 tie that my dad was apart of. I was chilling with Bubba Smith, an MSU legend, the entire game and partied with Drew Stanton the night before.

Ok Matt Tranon, our Senior WR made a catch and accidently went to the ND sideline becuase he coudn't stop in time. A ND player ON THE SIDELINE pushes Trannon to the ground, and soon he is swarmed by a sea of ND players. The MSU players clear the bench and there was an all out brawl.

MSU players have not forgotten about that incident, and we want some revenge my friend. Last years loss was one of the most heart breaking losses I have ever personally gone through. It was extra sad because I was there live thinking we won that game by a long shot. To add insult to injury Charlie Weis(SP?) said, "We will never lose to MSU under my watch" at a golf game with powerful ND Alum one week later. I thought that was adding insult to injury personally.

We're going to kick their a$$ and I'm going to LOVE IT!!!

I got into both and chose USC so it's definitely not second choice. Don't worry about the game tape we'll see what happens this season. The reason I didn't go to UCLA is because I visited both schools a lot and just liked USC better. UCLA is good too but they told me that it doesn't matter where u go for ur undergrad anyway as long as u get good grades. I thot I'd enjoy myself a lot more here and so far I have. Judging from rankings and the like there is very little difference in the undergrad program of both schools and USC will probably go past UCLA in a few years.

Lol and I wasn't trash talking!! It's just sum good-natured fun. I thot that's what the UCLA-USC rivalry is about, we don't actually hate each other so much. At least that's what I've experienced...

btw guys, check out #93 on our defensive line, he's palestinian, Nader Abdullah....always cool to see a middle easterner do well in a sport here

i checked the top 10 this week, believe it or not the "wack" big 10 has 3/10 spots, sure they're 8, 9 and 10 lol, but that's more than any other conference

Well first of all that is exactly right the important thing is to get the best grades possible. I didn't go to UCLA or USC my undergrad year. I went to Cal Poly Pomona but I graduated with a 3.85(rounded up 3.9) with a degree in Finance.

Just remem er these rankings have been stable for as long as I can remember. I can remember being in the first grade and people were saying, "Oh wait a few years and USC will leapfrog UCLA." In my opinion they are both about even but overall UCLA is slightly better, but not by that much.

Now for me it was an issue of cost. When you line up tuition at USC vs tuition at UCLA for their graduate MBA program, the logical pick would be UCLA. Not only that UCLA Anderson is ranked in the top 10 while USC Marshall school of business is in the top 20, so in business school UCLA hands down is better.

Of couse with USC you get RICH ALUMS never underestimate that advantage.

I think a while back there was an O-lineman palying for the Miami Hurricanes, and he was Iranian. He was playing for Miami in the 9/11 era too and was talking about how the players didn't give him any crap about being Iranian. He was a big dude I am guessing he is at lesat 6'6" and well over 300+lbs.

Reading this thread I just googled-up a Persian OLB for Wazzu (wash st.) in the mid-90s by the name of Payam Saadat.

I remember as a teen watching a USC-Wazzu game back then on the ol' Prime Network (now FSN) when he absolutely crunched a now infamous SC player in the backfield. (not O.J. ) Felt proud.

Saadat is now the Defensive Coordinator at....Cal-Poly, where he got his Masters. lol -- I didnt even know they had a football team there, but good luck to Payam's career. He's only 32 afterall.

Hopefully he'll eventually move on to greener pastures - I know USC already has an Armenian dude and an Asian dude on its coaching staff, so its inevitable....

Payam's full bio is on their website HERE.

                            Yeah, no doubt.

Cal-Poly made it to the I-AA playoffs a couple years back and last year they defeated San Diego State, 19-17, on SDSU's home turf at Qualcomm Stadium.

Payam was only named Defensive Coordinator last year, after the previous coach apparently went on to a bigger job after Cal Poly had one of I-AA's best defenses for quite some time.

I just learned about this today, so it'll be worth following.

I am saying this with all seriousness, I have no idea why would anyone pick a school in a such a bad neighborhood and pay 5 times as much peryear

UCLA has one of the most beautiful campuses anywhere and well we all know about hoover st.

Dont be fooled by the rankings. Their criteria is mostly in a way that is biased towards public schools. In Its not even close and I am not trash talking. I have had many many friends from both schools and I have tutored students from both schools. The difference is mind boggling. Back to the rankings. In the us news ranking Cal is ranked 20th where in all reality cal is a top 10 school in the nation. Unlike Duke, ND and IV league schools they dont care who your daddy is and just get the best. Same with UCLA and virginia but whats done is done and you are enrolled there. However, let me say this: over the last 15 years I ahve only seen 3 people who have been accepted to both schools and went to SC. The first 2 were both accepted to the biomedical engineering program which UCLA doesnt ahve as an independent program and they both got FULL scholarship so no out of pocket expenses. The third is you. Anyways I am glad you are lokking forward to our game but there are better teams like cal and oregon in your schedule which you should be worried about first!
