I like Cowan too. Showed serious grit last nite.

The only drawback is when he takes off his helmet and the cameras zoom in on him - he still has all those, um, puberty hangovers all over his face and neck.

Someone needs to pass along a coupon for Proactiv Solution to him, before the USC fans do.

Well the score is a bit misleading but I knew ND was going to put some points up on the board. The game started off a TOTAL DISASTER! On our 2nd possession inside our own 10 yard line, the QB Bryan Hoyer bumbles the snap, and ND picks up the fumble. On the next play touchdown ND 7 MSU-0. At that point I wanted to cry and thought it was going to be a long night. Well on the next drive MSU answered and never looked back. Basically MSU held ND to only one true touchdown drive. They have a good running back that just killed us.

Persianbruin- Just be thankful that UCLA won. What worries me though is how UCLA's defense, which is technically the strength of the team on paper, got torched several times by #5 on the long bomb. All I can say is I wish Locker was playing for UCLA. That kid just has such a beautiful touch on the deep ball. I was amazed at how accurate he was with it as well. Any QB can look good throwing 5 yard passes accurately all day. This guy can heave it deep and just nail it. He is going to be an NFL quarterback for sure.

Well I'm more impressed with USC's defense. Wow all I can say is wow what a fantastic defense. Some people are saying that this is Pete Carroll's best defensive unit ever as a head coach at USC. Now that is saying something they are very good. They are really good on their front four and their linebackers. Wow do they know how to hit and persue the football! I think it should be an interesting national championship between USC and LSU. I woudn't even call it #1 against #2. Those teams are so close I would call it 1A and 1B kind of like the Patriots and the Colts my friend.

Cowan was average against Washington. He went 17-of-30 for 147 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. Heard he went out early in the 4th quarter with a sprained right knee.

actually he wasn't avg. He was spectacular! One thing with cowan is what he does is not shown in the stat box. It can be seen in the final score. He moves the ball. That is what he did against SC last year and it is what he did against UW. He is very mobile and does the smal things that stat columns wont let you see. Next time he plays, just watch how he plays

If I remember they suspended Troy Smith in that bowl game because of it. Man that sucks looks like she ended up screwing Antonion Hention afterall. We all know that Jim Tressel looks the other way at these kind of things. He will probalby serve some sentence, do his time, and get reinstated on the team. He's a 3rd string qb so there is no rush to have him on the field anywys.

Persianbruin I agree with you 100% man. Cowan is also moremobile so he can pick up the first down with his feet. This is something that Olsen can't do. Olsen, as I said before, is just too one dimensional. He locks in on his primary WR and it's easy to read the guy.

besides my own bruins, the no brainer have to watch this weekend is Cal at oregon! I think everyone should watch this one.

I dont know if you people in the east coast watch pac 10 games but its a shame if you dont. UCLA and UW combined for 41 points in the forth quarter. At one point in a matter of 6 minutes the game had 4 touchdowns on plays of 60 yards or more each!! It was such a fun game to watch

that was for takin money from a booster, he got arrested when he was a nobody..but i heard he's suspended for the season, altho on the sportsradio out here they're callin to take him off the team which i disagree w/

but he's good man, i want him to get as many reps as possible, he's such a mobile qb

btw, he's from georgia and has such a thick accent that i heard he has to repeat the play call in the huddle like 2 or 3 times before the guys can understand him lol

PAC-10 is second to SEC in college football. Couple exciting games in the West this weekend.

Yellow Jackets Hosting No. 13 Clemson this Saturday. Back-to-back Atlantic Coast Conference losses for Georgia Tech. Our running back is questionable for Saturday's game and several other starters are nursing injuries.

Will be a good game for sure. Both teams combine to Average 72 points per game.

I am not so sure about being second. The only reason USC didnt make it to the championship game last year was because of two "inner" conference losses. SC beat arkansas 50 to something on the road last year. Cal dominated and thrashed tenesse this year and florida looked so mediocare last week. I hope we have a pac10 - SEC championship game so we could see who the boss really is

So anyone think USC gets upset this Saturday night?

And Auburn is coming to the swamp. Time for some pay back.

the only teams that have a chance of beating SC this year are CAL and their bowl game opponent if they make it to the national championship game

This year all their major games are in LA except the CAL game. You WONT beat SC in LA. Not for another few years at least. THe ucla game was at the rose bowl last year. No such luck this year
