possibly, but let's hope they dont hav us off for another 51 days before we play again, if we play SEC champ i'll be a little worried, PAC10 champ, no offense but i wont be as worried, USC isnt all that and from wut i saw last night (despite having their backup QB) Cal isnt all that either


anyways, im hoping to play southern florida or hawaii in the nat'l title game lol

anytime you have a backup QB play for you you dont have your real team. That was the case for CAL yesterday. This is the same cal team that when it had its complete team they kicked tennesse's butt and beat oregon IN autzen staduim. An oregon team that went to you know where and KICKED some royal you know what in that state above you guys!! Aws for USC, they are done. I love it how they lost 3 more spots in the AP ranking after yesterday. People are starting to see they are not all that. They ahve talent though which is 100% the reason they were able to pull it off yesterday.

Its funny though. If ASU had lost yesterday, UCLA would be on top of the PAC today!!

The guy in my signature had 260 allpurpose yards and 2 TDs in the NFL today and led his team in both rushing and receiving. I wish he hadn't left early

persianbruin, I am a Florida fan, but the SEC is strong. IF lsu doesn't make it, OSU wins the national title. OSU has that confidence, but they got some big games left with Penn State and Wisconsin. I expect them to blow out PSU.


We got kentucky next week, may god help us. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost 4 more games.

but there's a lotta football to be played.....we're comparing this team to the 2002 team and there are quite a few similarities actually

Something seems to magically happen when MSU plays agaisnt a #1 team. I"m sure you still remember 1998 when the unranked Spartans went into Columbus and shocked the world. Ohio St was comming off a huge win agaisnt Michigan and ranked #1 in the country. RB Sedrick Irvin of MSU just ran all over OSU that day.

Now fastforward to 2007. I"m not saying MSU is going to win but they are going to keep this game close. The Spartans still lead the big 10 in points scored. Before scoring 52 against IU, the Spartans averaged 37.5 PPG. They have a nice running back tandem of Jehu Caulkrik and Javon Ringer aka thunder and lightening. WR #5 Devin Thomas gives them the deep thread they are looking for.The key to this game is how will MSU"s defense respond to Tressel ball? At times this season they looked fabulous but this is the same team that can let NW score 49 on them.

MSU is going to make things interesting I don't think this will be a CAKE WALK for Ohio State.

There is a very valid excuse sherwin jaan, When you have a walk on QB and a 2nd string RB play in an offense that was kinda punchless to begin with what would you expect?? Once Cowan and Markey come abck everything will be fine.

lol ya man Arizona almost pulled it off but Freshman phenom Joe McKnight, who has been silent up to that point, saved USC from a loss to Arizona. He had a nice punt return and a long run I believe. I will say this much for USC, THEY HAVE A STUD and a future Heisman with McKnight. This kid was the #1 ranked recruit according to all of the notable magazines like scout.com and rivals.com. After watching that kid play, I can see why they went after him so hard. LSU truly lost out because he was deciding between LSU and USC.

*USC is going to move 3 spots down because of their performance agaisnt U of A, despite Cal and LSU losing.

On the other note WHAT A WEEK
#2 LSU loses and only get's demoted two ranks!!!!! They are going to put LSU at #4 my buddy just told me that. They are not going to punish LSU tha much for losing to the #17 team in the country AWAY in Over Time.

Cal- Wow I feel sorry for any Cal fan. They were ripe for playing in the National Championship and blew it agaisnt Oregon St. Looks like the Beavers just rise up when they play against good geams.

By thrashing all teams we meet!!!! Hopefully CAL returns to winning ways so they can be in the top 2 again and we beat them . Along with ASU and Oregon playing well.

Yep! That year we actually HAD A GOOD COACH too. Nick Saban built that program up for nothing and left to LSU after an 11-2 record. MSU fans are bitter at Nick Saban for two things he did which were classless.
1-He left the program right after MSU got invited to the Citrus bowl to play Foorida. Bobby Williams the RB coach at the time took over the team and won that game.

If we can stay healthy and catch a few breaks like 98, I like ouhe way just for fun here are some similarities between 1998 MSU Spartans and the 2007 spartans
