You remind me of me in 1993 when I started watchin football. It was great year!! I watched ucla beat usc while watchin the game with 5 usc alums and we beat them for another 5 years after that. It will get back to normal pretty soon. Patience is the virtue

I may be new to football baradar but I was born in LA and after I moved to Dubai I've been visiting religiously every year, I love LA and I'm not new to Cali!!

Anyway normal is SC dominating, after all we have 9 other national titles besides the Carroll-era ones

norm to me is when ucla is dominating afterall I was a student in the 90's. I dont care about the 40's and 50's, UCLA had an 8 game winning streak against the trojans in the 90's something SC has NEVER had against us

actually for a while we beat them in football and both games of the year in basketball. Ita happened for like 19 straight games, something like that which prompted the coining of the phrase by JR henderson that,"its just SC". For us in the 90s that was how it was. It was just SC, and pretty soon its gonna be like that again

I vividly remember those 90 years where UCLA would just flat out dominate USC. It ultimately cost John Robinson his job because he coudn't beat UCLA. Things went from bad to worse for USC by hiring that idiot Paul Hacket. Even Pete Carroll was an unpopular hire, and USC struggled under Carrolls first season. When Carson Palmer was a senior he took the team to the Orange Bowl and beat Iowa. That basically started their dynasty but Pete Carroll was on the hot seat at one time. I don't think we would go back to that domination era of UCLA, but if they get their act together the Bruins can make this a rivalry once agian. It has been one sided lately on the Trojans side, and even you got to admit that my friend.

You need players. That is the bottom line. Did you see the jag/steelers game?? Maurice drew had a TD receiveing, a TD rushing and a 96 yard kicoff return. We get more players like that (which we are now) its gonna be rivarly again

Nothing is more enjoyable to see 2 Bruins being successful in the NFL. While matt leinart and reggie bush were at home eating popcorn, my fellow bruins made this pic on the front page of ESPN today as the jags beat the steelers.
