Iran the defending champion retains title

LONDON, August 12 (IranMania) - Holder Iran lifted the Asian Under-18 water polo trophy with an 8-3 win over Uzbekistan in the Indonesian capital Jakarta, MNA reported.

On its way to the final showdown, the Iranian team had edged past Indonesia, Qatar, Kuwait, India, and Singapore.

The third title went to Singapore as it celebrated a narrow 6-5 victory over Kuwait.
