In the past I've seen retiring players play the whole game with a grand finally sicne it is never a "must win match", was Bayern scared of losing I don't get it... because they lost anyways even with Ribery coming in for him.

not really, infact, most goodbye matches never play the retiring player the whole game, probably because the player cant continue playing for the whole 90 minutes...

im surprised scholl played 52 minutes, he usually plays for 30 minutes...

i wish i had seen the game, anywayz considering this bayern squad whose age is counted in "weeks" now lost narrowly to a barca squad which not only has one of the best squads in the world but also been playing with each other for years now, i think its not a bad result.
