It's just their mentality bro but it's not exactly 10 seconds of action and 5 min break. It's more like 10-15 min of action and they cut to commercial break. They would rather have that than watch a 90 min game end in a 0-0 score or a 1-0 score. I'm just telling you their mentality because I have been dealing with them all of my life bro.

They like high schoring and action which is why American Football and basketball is so popular. Even baseball is mor popular with the recent steroid surge that is giving the sport a black eye, but there is more offense and home runs so that puts people in the seats.
It is very rare to find some American that will watch like the US Mens National team qualifying games for the world cup. They will watch the world cup but THAT'S ABOUT IT.

hahaha exactly! Poker is not a sport lol but it's a fad right now. At every party I go to we always have a hold em tourney. You can buy in with $20 and if you run out of chips you can rebuy. I don't mind paying $20 to play for a few hours if I lose big deal, but I usually do well because I use probabilities to my advantage.

Anyways ya I hate that as well it seems like every time you turn on ESPN, ESPN 2 or Fox Sports, they are showing some tournament. Sometiems they show the same turnament over and over again.
