Youth Volleyball World Cup...Iran Updates

Lets all hope for another sporting sucess here in the Youth World Cup Volleyball..

Iran have already started this tournament very well with wins agasint Heavyweights Puerto Rico and Poland...

Iran is 1 of the top 3 favourites to bring the title home next to Russia and Brazil..

Irans YOUTH Volleyball are ranked 3rd in the World and got bronze in the last edition.....Now maybe they are thinking bout doing even better

After a sucess in Basketball, Can we !! amazingly hope for a Youth World Title to stamp our youths power in the Volleyball world...!!!!

They have done well in past tournaments and the future is bright for our Senior Volleyball team, who hasnt been able to achieve what our youth has..

Iran had CLOSE wins agasint both Puerto Rico and Poland winning 3-2 in Sets which is very close....

Mind you that the coach said he belives Iran is the favourite for the title, and it will be between Iran and Brazil...He said Irans volleyball is deffinatly the best in the World

Irans youth comes into this tournament with some of the best young players in the World in different positions such as Scorers,Blockers, Spikers, Diggers and Servers....

We should Hail these federations for what they have done for Volleyball and Basketball becoming WORLD POWERS
While our soccer still lives to dissepoint us....

The oldest player in this squad is currently 18 years old...

There is one 16 year old and Wonder kid Farhad Salfalzoon who is only 15...

They got a recently aswell in the World Stage..

is it me or am i noticing iran slowly picking up on different sports. taking baby steps, it's not wrestling and football anymore. i mean we just won the basketball and now volleyball we have a chance then maybe poker??

Seems like noone cares about this, Its a big tournament...And our boys Are favourites AT A WORLD STAGE....

Btw..Iran lost to Cuba 3-0 in their last groupmatch, But they were already through to the next round so this was not a problem....

Iran is now in the 2nd round, And will have a hard group...

Brazil, India and Argentina are the 3 team they will be facing..

First match will be against Brazil 2moro, Good luck to them....

I was saying our U21 Volleyball side recently managed to get a Bronze in the U21 Volleyball World Cup...

Lets hope we can do well here aswell, We need 2 finish top 2 in this group to make the semis...Its not gonna be easy
