If I were the coach I would take it easy on our boys. Although
at this point Argentina may also be worried about going to the
5th game. I think finishing 2nd is better, because China seems
stronger than France but they finished 2nd in Group F, so we
will meet them if we beat Argentina.
hopefully this is the year for us.
Well it all depends on the coaches overall strategy. I would not push
my team if I did not absolutely have to. This is not like soccer where
you get eliminated if you dont win (at this point) so you have to think things though.
This is not good, we are closing in but Ghiasi now has 14 kills. I was
hoping he would stay low key in this game and fresh .... but doesnt
look that way.
Game over 3-2 Iran lost. On a positive note, I think it was smart for the
coach to let our next opponent be France instead of China. China has
been playing much better than France, and has been winning games 3-0
and 3-1. So they are well rested.
Wow iii thought maybe we would see a little bit of time off before hitting the Semifinals..
But it seems like the Semifinals will be held 2moro, Iran facing France
Not tomorrow, Saturday. So there is 2 days of rest. Aug 25 at 18:00 pm (LA time).
I hope the kids have masseuse and trainers helping them recover from the intense
week they had. It is great to see China and Argentina going at it. We should be
able to handle France if the team is well rested.
