Van The Man back in Dutch national team

yeh i only kid about him as a coach, he isnt the greatest and for me it wasnt because Ruud wasnt at the World Cup. What shocked me more was that Seedorf wasnt invited.
Seedorf is a man every team would want in there midfield and yet he wasnt invited at all.
What makes u think this young team of talent wont do well when they reach the peak of there careers??

Seedorf is one of those players that plays better for club than country. Van Basten wanted a champion team rather than a team of champions.

I didn't say that Holland wont do well at the next two world cups I said they wont win it.

I beg to differ, i think he has played well for Holland in the past. Also its not about a team of champions its about having mature experienced players mixed with the youth for a perfect balance.
I would much preferred to have Seedorf there over Cocu anyday.

God i wish for the good old days of the old Holland squads of the mid to late 90's
They were amazing. It feels so different now.

Actually it was Sneijder who took Seedorf's position. Van Basten is really just trying to build a team for the future as you saw that most of their squad was under 25. But now he has realised that he has to use Holland's best players if he wants to get results and leaving our RVD and Seedorf is a no no.

Its good to have Ruud and Clarence back. 4-3-3 for Holland with Babel and VP playing on either side of Ruud is KILLER. I hope Marco plays that formation.
