Daniel Alves helped beat Real Madrid in the Supercoppa but then admitted he would relish a move to the Bernabeu stadium.
Sevilla's right back is wanted by Chelsea, who reportedly offered ?21.5million (AUS$52.96million) for his services last week.
But the Spanish club turned down the offer.
The Brazilian did not hide his true feelings after the 5-3 Supercoppa triumph over Madrid.
"Any player would be enthusiastic about playing for Real Madrid," he said. "Any player who would deny wanting to play for Real Madrid would be a liar."
"Of course, any player would like to play for this club, for the fans who expect a lot from their team in every game."
"I am no different, but it's not a decision that I have to take."
Alves, 24, was keen to take part in the game against Madrid and he says he wants to speculation over his future to end as quickly as possible.
"It's a very complicated situation," he said.
"I hope it is resolved as soon as possible. I am worried. The only thing I want is for the situation to be resolved immediately."
Alves added that he does not take the decision to leave Sevilla lightly.
"I have already made clear that I want to continue to grow as a player and if that means having to leave Sevilla, I would be sorry because it's been a very special club in my life," he said.
