you had van nistelrooy, cannavaro, emerson, reyes, gago, marcelo, diarra and higuain

Messi was spectacular, Ronaldinho was very much in control of the team, your defense was a little shaky but you still had Puyol arguably the best defender in the world alongside Thuram and Zambrotta etc... Xavi and Iniesta were very solid as well.

Excuses are excuses, but Madrid were the best team last season even as a rebuilding team compared to Barcelona who had the players they wanted for a while.
