and about the ratings, you guys go check the sites, user ratings are just pure BS. a bunch of PES fans come and rate FIFA low so it would look bad! it's shameful.

FIFA 08 still hasn't even caught up to the playing level of PES 2007.

If you are good at pinball then you will master FIFA 08, but if you want real gameplay with a lot of physics and chemistry with controls get PES.

Don't believe me go read professional reviews and even better play both games.

PES 2008, when it comes will make fifa 08 look ridiculous. EA doesn't care as much about their soccer category as eh other sports like football and hockey. All they do is dazzle you with Ronaldinho and the other franchising crap in the commercials and then you find out, if your a good gamer, that the actual game is sub par.

i hate how now on FIFA 08 basically everything is manual, like Control the goalkeeper in one-on-one situations to deny the striker yourself.
after reading all of your posts, i'm thinking about buying PES as well instead of FIFA 08 or maybe BOTH??

PES is very realistic. Iran is included, but all the names are wierd. still u can fix that in editing but some versions dont have that either. the names for the main teams are written correctly. But on 1 of the versions i saw Germany's national team had all these wierd names.anyway who cares about names, the game is good.

btw, does any1 know if Fifa 08 will be compatible with windows Vista?? I would laugh if it wasnt, or cry coz i have vista lol.

must be why all fifa games since FIFA 2003 to so far 2007 have been EXACTLY THE SAME in terms of player movement and control..a 5 yr old can tell...take a winning eleven game..take away the licenses and make the players looks horribly off it would still be 5 times better than any garbage FIFA has released
