He is hardly average for Milan, in fact I would say he is world class. He still does amazing things. I suggest you watch Milan's run to the final last year. He was probably the sole reason behind it.

As for when he plays for Holland, yeah he doesn't play well, but that isn't really up for debate as he hasn't played for them like for 3 years. Even when he did at Euro 2004, he was clearly their best player and took them to semis.

Seedorf is probably the most underrated player in the world and can hold his own with anyone.
