Guys, some of you might think this is another euro qualifier joke thread like last time, but no. I saw the albania - neth game yesterday and sad to say, but that little clump in europe called albania really surprised me in terms of how they play. Couple years ago, they were jokes in europe, but now, they really contend, holding neth off till the 90th + mins. Anyway, my point is, these teams get so much better, yet us, former powerhouses in asia are getting weaker and weaker. its not about the coaches people, its about the federation, programs, youth system, investment in futbol. right now the only thing iran is investing in is some mamlekat bullshiet. its just so sad.

well being in a confederation like uefa definately helps, we have seen teams like turkey and israel improve over the years due to good competitive sompeetition both at club and interntational level where they get to play top class teams.
How can u expect us to improve when we are playing teams like malaysia, china and india while turkey is playing teams like holland, france and italy!
When you are competing againts the best you are forced to show progress and perform otherwise you just cant compete!Comment
