This season they are playing in champions league have just beat Lyon 3-0 at Lyon!! They are currently on top of their table.

Great result , Scottish football is on a high with their national team doing well as well as their clubs.

its open to question...i dont think that rangers would appreciate what nekounam would bring to the club...probably wouldnt start him...but then again..despite the league differences in terms of quality, its everyplayers dream to play in the CL..

but Osasuna knocked out Rangers in last seasons UEFA Cup and made it to the semi final only to lose narrowly to Sevilla 2-1 on aggregate.

And you also have to take into perspective that while Osasuna is competing with Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga for a spot in champions league , Rangers main competitor is Celtic so its much easier to get a champions league spot. And the level of play in Spain is much higher to that of Scotland.

Rangers got into the Champions league... because they qualififed through he scottish league.

Osasuna has Barca, Madrid, Sevilla to beat in the standings before having a chance. I'd rather see Nekounam stay in Liga and defend against players like Ronaldinho than play side by side with Beasley.
