nah i travelled there in my gap year. khao san road is the back packing place to be in bangkok and every morning at 8.30 they'd play their national anthem to wake everyone up. then followed (without fail) by boro boro.

It wasnt just like a weekly obsession - i staying on that road 3 times in the space 2 months and they played it every morning! i'd tell my mates "i'm sure i know this song from somewhere!"
