this team doesnt have enough talent. They have reached their peak and this is it. I still believe ucla will be a #1 see IF everyone stays healthy which is not the case right now. They have way too many injuries.
With all this said, I truly believe ucla will be bounced out of the tourny either in sweet 16 or the elite 8. There is no way this team can get to the final 4. Other teams have major NBA talent. Nobody in current ucla roster is a future NBA star. We will get one next year in Jrue holiday but nobody roght now.

I basically agree with everything you said except I can name you one future NBA star Kevin Love. This kid is a great player and he is going to be good in the NBA as well. I just don't think this team has that killer instinct to make it to the final four and beyond. They have the tallent to play with anyone, but they are just not mentally tough enough. No doubt!! He will be "good" but not great. I look at Michael beasley and he is gonna be GREAT! Kevin love is not athletic enough. Also killer instinct needs talent too. This team doesnt have it.

Michael Beasley the dude from K State right? I didn't get a chance to look at his games but I see his highlights on ESPN. Dude is straight up a baller he is going to make an immediate impact on an NBA roster.

O.J. Mayo is a good player but he kind of reminds me of young Kobe Bryant aka ball hog. No doubt he has skills I am not trying to take anything away from him, but there is a four letter word in the dictionary called PASS.

K Love will most likely be a PF in the NBA. He has a good wide body which is very important in the NBA, but there is just something about him that doesn't say All Star material. He is not going to be a Tim Duncan or anything close to that.

One player you guys don't know is Raymar Morgan F out of Michigan State. I believe he is going to be one of the sleepers, and he at least has one year already under his belt. This year he is averaging 16 points, shooting 57.1%, and roughly 7 rebounds a game. Now those might not be amazing stats to most fans, but remember Tom Izzo doesn't allow one super star to get all the points. They like to dirstribute the ball, so opponents can't key in on one player. Last year all of the pressure was on G Drew Neitzel because of injuries and lack of experience. Most of the time if you look at the MSU scoreboad you will see like four people average 15 points rather than one guy going off for 35.

Yep you're right and Taj Gibson is one of those players who I think is better than OJ Mayo. Anyways you made me think of a question. How good do you think guys like Kobe and Lebron would of been, if they just went to college for one year? Kobe would always give interviews about how he gave it some serious thoughs to go to Duke. LeBron was even considering going schools like Syracuse and Michigan State. Good old Tom Izzo, head coach for MSU, even brought Lebron over for a recruiting visit. Lebron was impressed with the basketball facilities and campus. Could you just imagine how good a Duke would of been with Kobe or Michigan State with Lebron James?

Well I am pissed we got screwed by the refs at Purdue. That was a bunch of home town officiating whicn Big 10 refs are known to do that. Now we got to play at IU so it doesn't get any easier.

yes that was in 2006 and MSU lost the first round to MASON which later finished top 4 despite all the odds and being an underdog from the start of the NCAA>

They also beat some other good teams as well man. MSU was just one of the big dogs to fall to GMU even UNC lost to them. That was a magical run and at least I could say, "Well we lost to a final 4 team."

Sometimes these things happen and I love it when the little guy goes on a tear like Boise State beating Choke-la-homa University a few years ago. Sometimes it's just the little guy's destiny to win. Too bad they lost in the final 4 to the Florida f*gs.
