to be honest the guy got off easy. As a tottenham fan the number one reason we didnt do well this year is because Jol didnt do ANYTHING on the transfer market. Seriously, we have ONE left footed player worth playing. We have a shaky defence, our left side of the mid field is team melli-esque and this guy goes out and buys another strker?!!!! for 23 mil at that!!

while he did do some amazing things with the team, Martin Jol simply needed to go.

^^ they spent too much money for berbatov to do nothing. thats the problem. and paul robinson is pretty crappy too. even eses ahvaz's keeper can do better.

are u serious??!! kid do you know ANYTHING about soccer?

Paul robinson has had some bad matches but i dont remember him being the one in charge of our transfers. Or our formations. I dont remember robinson signing ANOTHER striker for 23 million pounds. Yeah i really must have forgotten that.

firstly im not a kid, i dont like to be spoken to like that and secondly spurs is my second team and i follow there games and around half ur loses are robinsons fault, the amount of blunders tha guy does for spurs and england its amazing he still gets away with it, even if that guy was in iran he would have been changed by now and what u on about 23 million pound striker that bent guy only cost 16 million and i think the manager hasnt done anything bad is ur lazy ass players and the club management who bought down jol confidence from his first loss buy going and talking to sevilla coach, i hope they come back up again and jol didnt deserve what he got at the end.

First off those lazy ass players are the ones he has chosen. Second off all on paper Tottehnham has one of the best offensive squads in the league. Those players arent lazy; there injured. If you were an actual fan you would know that. Bale is missing, chimbondas ankles been botherng him etc etc.

Third of all that club management recently showed the best profit out of ANY EPL club. And Dan levy did NOTHING but support the guy. Time after time.

Martin Jol simply pissed off too many of his good players (i.e. Berbatov) by his retarded signings and formatins. It took him way too long to notice that Bale should be played on the defensive wing. And it took him waay to long that Jermaine Defoe could care less about this team. Martin Jol dug his own grave.

                  Tottenham make Ramos new manager

Juande Ramos has signed a four-year deal to become the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur, replacing Martin Jol who was sacked earlier this week.
