now please dont tell me that this is not a world class team on its own.

The amount of talented football players Brazil has is tremendous.

17 coutries around the world have Brazilians in their national team that are actually starters.

    --------eduardo silva (croatia)-------kuranyi (germany)

    ------------------santos(tunisia)

    --------Zinha(mexico)-------------------deco(portugal)

    ----------------senna(spain)----aurelio(turkey)

    --Alex Santos(japan)----Leandro de Almeida(hungary)----Lucio Wagner(bulgaria)

look at that.. this team in itself has the portential to win a world cup!!

what is your opinion on this issue and do you think it is fair?!!

Now I dont think such a team will be able to win a World Cup with the players you have cited. Sure they might win the odd regional tournament, but it takes more than just that to win a World Cup.

        why not?!!

mOST of those players are world class players, such as Deco of Barcelona who is the heart of the Portuguese national team, Eduardo of Arsenal who is Croatia's best striker and Marco Senna who is a classy midfielder.

This is a compact team which could go a long way.

i used to dislike brazilian football around WC 98 and 2002 but then the likes of rivaldo and r carlos left and there's less acting on their team and more skill (ronaldinho, robinho, kaka, etc.) and now i absolutely love their style of play, beautiful to play and we'll break our ankles trying to imitate it! lol

santos for japan is not a starter anymore and hasn't been since last year i believe. he's never even on the bench for the nt anymore, just never selected. there is marcus tulio though (but he's actually part japanese) and he is usually a starter in the team when he's not injured.

i don't know much about those other brazilians, but i know in santos' case it's fair he plays for japan. he's lived there for quite awhile and went to school there. he even wears boots with japan's flag on them and sings the national anthem before games which is cool

Deco...that's the only player in the line-up that has what it takes to win a World Cup. All the rest havent got what it takes to win the grand prize in football. Sure they are great for their clubs, but bear in mind the clubs they play for are more or less mid-table that dont do much. Eduardo still has a way to go before starting for Arsenal even. Such players are good for their adopted countries, mainly because they cant even get into the Brazil side, but are they capable of winning a World Cup ? Not likely

That's like picking an all star NFL team but forgetting to pick the quarterback.

That squad looks like it can score a lot of goals, but with an open net and 3 defenders who love to attack they will need to score a lot.

nima....alex is a midfielder/full back. u play him in as a stopper in a 3 back system and even maldives can score against them

btw, stuttgarts striker mario gomez is also half brazilian if im not mistaken.
