Well every team is bound to have a complete breakdown once in a while, just look at Besiktas against Liverpool this week...would you have expected 8-0? Or Bulgaria in World Cup 1998 against Spain 6-0? of Serbia against Argentina in 2006, 6-0? Anyway, as a footballing nation the Saudis passed as in the mid 80s and dominated us since the 90s-2000s.

(We always finished behind them in qualifications for example, and wouldnt have qualified in 1998 if they hadnt increased the Asian spots....again thanks to them going to the 2nd round in 1994).

Im not a big fan of saudi and their team, but their 94 was their golden generation and I wouldnt hesitate to say they were the best in Asia at that time.

Yes and Saudis are the reason Pakistan ends up almost always facing Arab sides in Asian and World Cup qualification games since they bribe the AFC into making that happen so that whatever chance we may have for ANY positive result goes up in smoke.
