Forward wise, I doubt it...the guy plays almost like Roberto Baggio. I really cannot find one weak aspect about his gameplay. I doubt he will suceed in the EPL though, since Saudi players dont do well in Euro settings. Maybe he'll prove me wrong though.

Well the reason why Saudi players havent been able to make a mark in Europe is because of the stupid loan deals their Saudi clubs insist on letting a European club borrowing their players for a few months and then ordering them back. Wolverhampton Wanderers were keen on getting Sami al-Jaber for a permanent deal a few years back but his Saudi club vetoed it and ordered him back after 2-3 months.

But of all teams, Middlesbrough was the least I thought Yasser al-Qahtani (yes without a doubt no one is a better striker in Asia than him at the moment) would go for, but since Tuncay Sanli and Mido havent made a mark and Boro are close to the relegation zone, maybe Qahtani can make a difference. Only thing is the weather and the fast physical play in Premiership may get to him as soon as he makes his first appearance. Spain or Portugal or Turkey would have been good for him, but hey who am I to judge ?

But I wish him the best

Younis Mahmoud is a great team leader and target man, but him and Yasser are two different sort of goalscorers.

Yasser relies on quick pace, good skill, and deadly finishing - Younis relies more on his high workrate, clever off-the-ball positioning, and dead ball situations.

eventhough there are better strikers in the mid-east
respect to him if he makes it

this really makes me think on how succesful karimi couldva been in europe. karimi makes as many dribbles in one game as that guy made in the video.
