Does it piss you off when the Best clubs buy all the good players??

Is it just me or does it bother you too that teams like BAYERN, CHELSEA, MAN U., REAL MADRID, BARCELONA, etc... all the ALREADY good teams keep buying the best players???

I think its unfair to the game of football because they dont really need them. They buy them and bench them while all the other teams in the league could be using these players.

Look at bayern for example, they got ALL THE DAMN good players in Germany. What do the other teams have?? Nothing!

I think this is bad for football because there is not much competition in the leagues. Champion's league i guess becomes exciting but regular league games become worthless. I wish there was some kind of law against this.

Juve are a very young team this season after coming back to A. All that are left of their stars are Buffon, Trezeguet, Del piero and Nedved (with the last two getting old and out of form). All their defence amd midfield are youngsters and unknowns. And YET, they are gonna dominate serie A and the likes of Inter and Milan with all their stars. And next year in the champions league, they'll challenge all these other big clubs with their "stars". If only every team had their spirit.

Star players don't make a star team. Look at Arsenal, most of the players are youngsters and prior to the last 2 seasons were unknowns, and look where they are on the table - no.1. Coaching, development, scouting, motivation are REALLY important. Arsene Wenger is a genius BTW.

Ligue 1 was never that good. All their best players end up in Spain, Italy, and England sooner rather than later for the past many generations.

Well I"m not pissed but they should do something to even the playing field. In American football and basketball, the way it's set up is to make it so that there is parity. Each team has a "salary cap" in which if they go over that cap, they will pay a luxury tax. For example let's say the Lakers have a salary cap of 200 million dollars(this is just made up). Each dollar after that 200 million they need to pay X percentage fo salary cap. So lets' say the Lakers want to pay 80 million to sign Lebron James and they are already over the 200 M salary cap. They might fork over an extra 30% or something like that to sign him. It's the same system in the NFL as well.

I think they need ot do something like that in this sport to even the playing field a bit.

Also if I may add, apart from a few that remained loyal to their clubs or were declared national treasures like Pele....big clubs have ALWAYS bought the best players regardless. Its happened throughout history of continental football.

It is and it promotes parity in pro football and pro basketball. Look at the NFL right now the Green Bay Pakers are a small market team, but they are 10-1 tied for the best record in the NFC. In the NBA low market teams like San Antonio can compete with the LA Lakers, New york, Miami, Chicago etc. Actually San Antonio usually kills those teams.

They also have a draft system which aslo promotes parity but it works a bit differenty. In pro football the best college player goes to the worst team. In pro basketball, the teams that don't make it to the playoffs get into a lotto system. Usually this consists of 16 teams since there are 32 teams in the NBA. One year Orlando as a #16 seed got lucky and picked Shaquille O'Neal out of LSU because they got the #1 pick. In the NFL the #1 player would of gone to the worst team no matter what.

Of course that element doesn't apply to our football but they could put a salary cap on teams to even things out. I'm also surprised these ideas exist in AMERICA which thrives on the idea of capitalism. This is kind of more socalist when you think about it because everyone is equal.
