s part of their co-operation deal with the Asian Football Confederation, Chelsea have handed a trial to Asian Player of the Year Yasser Al-Qahtani.
The 25-year-old, who has claimed Premier League Middlesbrough are keen on his signature, will now have the chance to train at The Blues' training HQ at Cobham.
Subject to approval from Al-Qahtani's club Al Hilal - the striker will get a two-week chance to impress.
Chance
"Most of the Arab players don't make a big impact in Europe," he told newspaper Al-Riyadh.
"But I am very confident and I know I'll have to make more efforts to prove myself and break though among the world's elites.
"I already have some offers but I'll have to examine them very well with my agent and the Hilal's bosses to choose what's best for me."
