i cant be too critical of him on that instance...! only and only because the keeper couldnt get a touch on the ball...! yet he could have easily jumped over the keeper and tap the ball in also...but instead he milked the situation for all its worth as always..!

I dont like diving at all, but for the past 1-2 years most of Ronaldo's "dives" have actually been legitimate fouls on him not given by the referee, while at the same time turning their heads away from dangerous offences on him.

Drogba, Robben, Campo, Gerrard, Eboue, Ashley Cole.....all these folks give some horrible performances in this regard...but no its always Ronaldo who gets the stick for things he has drastically cut down upon since the World Cup of 2006.

Fair enough, but as far as this season goes, Ronaldo's scored two penalties out of the 11 goals he has scored, winning a penalty only once by a 'foul' on himself (and yes I dont call yesterday's one a legit foul...it was a dive)
