I say MLS will improve, it will never be like Premiership, Laligua or serie A but it will improve for sure i say in ten years from now MLS will be among the 10th stongest league , USA is richer than Europe, if other Football stars like Beckham comes to play in that league the quality will improve, it will be more more popular and local good players will come.

no waayy!! American football is far far more entertaining than soccer and the americans for some reason (i have no idea why!) love just LOVE baseball
This is the bottom line. The americans love games with a lot of stops in btween and a lost of statistics so they have something to talk about and compare----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

the biggest problem for them would be to get average joe american to become a soccer fan and more importantly is to get decent Media, especially TV coverage of the league..!

the goal for MLS is to first compete with the leagues in their own hemisphere (mexico, argentina, brazil). once they can get the youth talent to come and play in the US instead of going to Europe, MLS will have no problems competing with the top european teams. and once they have the money to sign these players away from europe, which i would say is possible in the net five to ten years, then the sky is the limit

Everyone thought this would not work but so far they are up to par with the upper echelon Asian leagues.
Problem is not the level of soccer being played. They could be as good as the EPL for all I care but the issue is the american people wh just dont like soccer. They are the ones that matter.
That being said I just found out a former UCSB math student who won the national championship last year, was just proven gulty of rape and will probably spen 8 years in prison. He was drafted by the KC wizards last year. Talking about bad luck.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
