The correlation was made due to the idea that you "can't really feel sorry for him" because "he had his time where he lived like a king". And you somewhat reiterate the point: today's ridicule is allowable in light of yesterday's success?

well you guys gotta understand...people are "fans" as long as he is good...they dont care about his personality or what kind of person he is...they just care about his persona as a sportsman...if he goes down, everything goes down with him...the relationship between the players and fans is like that of an employee and a boss.

it is obvious that Ronaldinho doesn't take his football as seriously as he did a couple of years back.

He isn't training as frequently , his put on weight, and hasn't got the same hunger for the game. The fans have a right to be frustrated with him , he is paid very generously after all.

Dont believe me just look at these pics. The one on the left is him 2 seasons ago and the one next to it is him last season when Barca didn't win anything when they had such high expectations.

The problem with us Iranians is that we think about what he has done in the past rather than what he is doing right now..
he had 3 great seasons with us but that does not give him any credit or advantage to perform "shittily" this season.
He needs to toughen up..

If you guys followed Barca you would know for the past 2 seasons Ronaldinho has become extremely lazy. He rarely defends and just smiles like a jackass whenever he makes several mistakes. Also he goes partying out alot and the fans think he doesn't love the club like players such as Deco and Xavi do.

Haha exactly. We are really fooling ourselves if we think a few cheers or a few boos actually affects a multi-millionaire like Ronaldinho. The guy can friggin screw any woman he likes, as ugly as he is...he can buy the best and most expensive things and cars, and these fans pay money from wages they earned doing jobs they probably dont like, and are paid probably 0.1% what he is if they are lucky.

I think it's Ronaldinho's fault he gained some weight and isn't at tip top form, but no player or legendary player has ever been perfect. The only difference for him is that he isn't doing too terrible and can easily get back to his best form over some time.
