current nekounam (before injury) - agree. HOWEVER, let me say this, nekounam got the chance to prove himself in the worldcup and then move to osasuna and prove himself there. this chance wasnt given to nashat akram and he only got to prove himself in an asian cup yet one of the good teams on the best league in the world want him. so maybe if akram also had the chance nekounam had, he would have proven himself as well, maybe even more than nekounam. but this is only assumptions, so i agree with u about nekounam.
curent qahtani - disagree. qahtani might be one of the best strikers in asia but i rate nashat akram higher than him.
Malek - disagree. current qahtani and karimi are better than him
Nakamura - agreed
Park - agreed however, i repeat, u should consider the fact that these guys got to prove themselves in europe, akram wasnt given that chance. there is a chance that akram could have proven himself had he got his permit, but again, i agree, park ji sung although he has just returned from injury and we can just hope he reaches back his preinjury form. so, we have to wait.
hawar mohammad - disagree. i think nashat akram and younes mahmoud are both better players than hawar mulla mohammad. im pretty sure most iraqi football fans will agree with me on this one. however, hawar is one of the key players of iraq too.
teymourian - disagree poor in asiancup 2007 and not doing so well in bolton. so his current form is definitely not as good as akrams current form, but even if he was, i would still rate akram higher. nashat akram is something like our own navidkia or nekounam, who are both in my opinion better than teymourian when on peak form.
madanchi - disagree. ARE U KIDDING ME??? he scored some goals in UAE league and now he is made god. in that case, farhad majidi, ali samereh, reza enayati and rasoul khatibi are all better than nashat akram as well
so i agree with only park ji sung, shunsuke nakamura and javad nekounam and all 3 of them are just returning from long time injuries and we are assuming they will reach the form they had before their injuries.
besides, like i said, had iraq or atleast nashat akram had the chance to take part in the worldcup, there is a possiblity he could have proven himself much easier to the rest of the world like nekounam or nakamura or park did!
sorry, but i think nashat akram at this age of 24 has the potential to become one of the top asian players in the coming years and definitely can succeed in a mid table team of a top league in europe.

I can name 20 with ease. Remember, this Asia Cup was the worst edition of it so far. This whole four countries b.s; Australia was adjusting and weren't even close to their peak; South Korea was horrible; Iran's coach was an absolute idiot; and Saudi Arabia always has a hard time against Iraq it seems. And Nashat hasn't done anything besides help his team win the Asia Cup. Nashat has been nothing special for his Al-Ain team. While all of our players are ripping up the UAE league. He was no where before this Asia Cup, and some Iranians are overestimating Iraq's team and players. They got lucky, simple as that, accept it. Di*k-riding doesn't mean that that team is great .
none of ur explanations justify iraqs brilliant performance. australia werent poor, they were simply overrated with aging old players like mark viduka (our verison of ali daei ).
south korea was poor?? when was the last time south korea ever did anything in asian cup?? 1950s!! have they been poor every time for the past 50 years???
wat about japan?? they were on top form with their top players of peak form, wat happened to them???
saudi arabia had a tough time against iraq inspite of being one of the best teams of the tournament, ever wondered why?? because iraq was good!
iran hasnt been doing crap for the past 30 years either. so every asian cup we played, our coach was an idiot???
im sorry but i dont think iraq won the tournament by luck. while their country was in so much of turmoil, iraq played some beautiful inspirational team work football.this team has been playing together for a long time from the olympic team, they are a bunch of young talented players playing together for a long time mixed with some of their more experienced players which gives them a good combination.
this same olympic team made it 4th place in the world which no other asian team could. the same team won the asian cup 2007 and the same team will be a force to reckon in the coming years in asia unless more disaster happens to their country and their people which may affect their football even more.
i think u shouldnt comment on something urnt fully aware off.

Your evaluation of Akram is purely based on speculation. He had one good tournament, nothing noteworthy before that. He's even struggled with Al-Ain. He didn't show himself in the World Cup cause Iraq got knocked in the first round. If he is as great as you say. His old team, Al-Shahab couldn't even make it out of the first round and Sepahan smacked them around. He's not even close to Navidkia or Jabbari. All your talk comes from that fluky Asia Cup win. Teymourian, yeah he hasn't been shining recently, but he plays in a MUCH HIGHER league, and the Asia Cup, none of our players besides a couple play well. Why don't you mention Teymourian shining in the more important and exponentially harder World Cup vs. the likes of Mexico and Portugal vs. Akram's shining in the lesser Asia Cup. Or what about his brilliant season last year in Bolton? Again, a MUCH BIGGER FEAT than Akram's Asia Cup run (I didn't even think he was that good). I'm bemused and your explanations are comical.
Nekonaum made the all-22 in La Liga, best player of a Spanish team etc. and yet you find a way to compare him to Akram based on speculation and said he might be better? lol Every part of Nekonaum's game is better than Akram, EVERY ASPECT.
Again, it goes back to some Iranians di*k-riding and wanting to make our opponents' players better than our own, not because they want to percieve themselves to be "fair" but cause they have a keeneh and are traitors to be honest cause they like to devaluate Iranians at the expense of others.

Iraq is overrated. It's convienent for you to always forget how Iraq has never done anything for their football history except a lone World Cup visit and an Asia Cup win ... not their clubs, not their National Team. So stop mustering up some historical justifications that try to boost your Iraqi masters

Don't give me crap about Iran not winning an Asia Cup because YOU THINK I implied every coach was an idiot. IN 2004, we were robbed. Vs Saudi in 1996, we were robbed. Refs robbing us is the theme, not us bad coaches.

if u cant have a level headed conversation, dont talk to me please.
its funny how ur ready to accept some east asian or european players or teams are better than iranian player or team but u cant admit the same about arabs?? clearly shows u cant accept reality and have to use unwanted words or accusations to justify urself (iraqi masters, suck off iraiqs, )
seriously, how old r u???
if u read again, i said this iraqi team is a new generation of young iraqi talents who started off from the olympic team together. even earlier, they were always a good team in asia, but now, they are better than before. like i said, make sure u are aware of a topic before u make a comment.so i didnt forget anything, ur the one who forgot (or are not aware of the fact) that this iraqi team is mostly the same team who reached 4th place in olympics, now they have reached national level and will now be a force to reckon from now onwards. korea and iran have always been forces in asia, but every asian cup, we come up with some sort of justification for being the best in asia but still not winning anything!
P.S. this is the last time im telling u, watch ur language. just 2 posts back, i gave u a warning for not controlling ur language. from now on, ur on my radar, so if u wanna stay on pfdc, u better learn to change ur attitude, ur tone and ur choice of words.

I can't believe you gave me a warning, which again, shows you have ulterior motives. You didn't respond to any of my points, which means you have no point yourself. I've also followed Akram and know tons of the Iraqi team and players; they are just a hype, that's all. Akram has done nothing in his career beside one fluky Asia Cup win.
You can suck up to whoever you want to, it's just sad all I'm telling you.

getting into teams such as bayern munich is a HUGE accomplishment by itself even if u sit on the bench throughout the whole season/
as a person that only watches through the television screen, its very easy
to criticize and talk as if its nothing
if u dont mind can u plz give this guys resume or list of any his accomplishments at club/national level disregarding the hilarious asian cup championship, there probably isnt much too write

ALSO, I had nothing against Iraqis (actually stood up for them many times in the past, even though they were aggressors that lead to 1 million murders of our hamvataans) until I met some Iraqis and used their boards. You think I hate them? Lol, you haven't seen how they passionately hate us.
