eto for sure...! a far more complete package...football intelligence, pace, vision, killer finishing ...deft passing .......the only advantage drogba has is his areal threat, and perhaps stronger physical presence...!

I just hope they don't both end up in our World Cup qualifying group again.

Italia 1990 was the last time we qualified . We drew 1-1 with that very good Dutch team (Rijkaard, Van Basten, Gullit, etc.), but bowed out in the first round drawing 0-0 with Ireland then losing 1-0 to England through Mark Wright's second half goal.

You guys would have done much better in 06' than Iran did IMO

There's just too much quality in Africa for you guys to compete with and there are so many rising African nations such as guinea as you mentioned yourself and Mali which will make it even harder for you guys to qualify in the future.

The African pool of talent is deep and keeps growing.

I think its a bit too soon to say that although imo there are African teams which I rate higher than South American teams.

Cote d'Ivoire , Ghana, Tunisia , Egypt , Nigeria , Cameroon are all quality teams that can beat most South American teams on a good day.

But the big two (Brazil and Argentina) are in a class of their own. Their are only few European teams who can compete with them on a consistant basis(France, Germany and Italy)!
