The young Uruguayan midfielder Mathias Cardaccio has signed for Lazio! He is one of the most promising midfielders in Uruguay and has many U-21 caps to his name. He was one of the best players in the U20 WC in Canada last year.

The 21-year old central defender Stefan Radu has signed for Lazio. He will be loaned until the end of the summer when Lazio has an option 0f 5.4 million euros to sign him.

Radu is highly regarded in his country of origin, Romania, and is called "the next Chivu". I have even heard that Romanians rate his potential higher than Chivu's!

Lazio are also very close on signing Barzagli from Palermo! He will cost Lotito approximately 12 million euros and Pasquale Foggia. Definately a great deal if it goes through (although I am a bit doubtful about releasing Foggia).

Foggia has no place in the team, We have Mauri, Meghni, Del Nero already. We might as well make some money off of him. Barzagli would be a good addition, but where is all this money coming from?

Barzagli denied that he is moving this season.

Foggia showed his great potential in the beginning of the season when he scored in almost all matches. Even Liverpool were eyeing him for some time.

Since Lotito hasn't spent any serious money since he arrived, and that no expensive player was bought from the 13 million euro received by the Oddo-transfer last season, there is money to spend (not too much though).

The penalty might have been a bit suspicious, but you cannot blame the ref. Lazio was clearly the better team, and both of Roma's goals were tokhmi as hell.

You can do whatever you want in Europe and Italy, but in Rome your big-brothers Lazio are still in charge.

Not too well. He has scored a couple of goals but overall he has been a dissappointment.
