im considering getting mercurial vapors as worn by by ronaldo , robinho , dani alves and so on.
anyone have any personal experiences or advice that could help?
prepare for the worst 1-2 week(s) of your life (the first 1-2 week(s) after you buy them)
after that, they're the best shoes ever I can't go back to any shoes after getting vapor

listen to this.
after I heard you say this before I had a dream that I got vapours and when I took them off my feet were bleeding!
from what I hear they are really light and easy to move with. What I am not sure is how good they are when you play on an average field! for instance protection and strength to endure harsh fields as in australia the pitched are not so good!

well if you play on any kind of natural grass, i think you'll be fine, since i'm using mine on turf grass for almost a year now and they still haven't worn out (so they would work on turf grass too)
but you foot doesn't bleed lol, you just get lots of blisters that hurt ALOT (I had to asked to be subbed out from a game after 10 mins because i couldn't handle the pain from the blisters) + your foot kinda gets "squashed" (first week only, while it's shaping after your foot)
but you can make the prosess quicker by filling a bathtub with really hot water, then put your feet (with vapors on) in there for a few mins (I didn't do that, but one of my friends did)
they are not good for protecting feet though, both of my toes are completly black after getting stepped on in games, but i don't complain, since vapors are so comfortable

i prefer turf over grass
probably because i've been playing on turf since age 12 lol
For Celtic--u18s I always wear my Pumas, they are my favourite.
Puma v1.08 btw.
Most of my teammates wear different kinds of Nike boots since Celtic give you free pairs, but I don't like them as much as my own Pumas.
The other people I know who don't wear the Nike ones that the club give are 2 people who wear Umbro X boot and one person who has white preddies.
dude you play at celtic ?? amaze man ul be playing in tm soon enough btw ... are you on football manager lol?
I think you play on different turf! by "turf" i mean the rolled up grass that they lay on footie pitches.... i think this is another "skipping/roping" language difference
