Chelsea's Didier Drogba & Michael Essien alongside Sevilla's Freddie Kanoute have been nominated 4 the African Player of the Year.
I think Drogba will win it easy.

Essien should win it. This guy is so underrated and one of the best all around footballers in the world. He can play anywhere and play it well, Drogba deserved it last year, but has not been anything special this year, likewise with Kanoute, but Essien has been superb season in and out for a number of years, he's consistent and should hopefully win it. They should not just look at strikers and the goals they score.

drogba's my favourite player but he hasnt really done a WHOLE LOT this yaer compared to last, so i think Essien should get it

essien should win it, he is great and is a game controler / manager. drogba scores and is good at it but essien is very underrated.

Drogba was leading goal scorer 4 EPL last season. He will definetly get it.
