People who complain about how animals are killed and still eat meat produced from slaughterhouses and such are huge hypocrites. Read a book called "Animal liberation" which will show you this type of slaughter is still 100 times more humane and fair then what happens in massive scale factory slaughterhouses where the animals are crammed into a tight space and then killed with blunt objects being hit on their head, or chickens being smashed against walls.....

yea even though nigeria played slightly better one moment of individual brilliance brought victory to the elephants. but if there is a rematch dont bet on another win.

you are all a bunch of hypocretes! There is nothing wrong with these photos. What is wrong is the capitalist western media that hides the reality of butchering the animals that people eat at McDonald's or expensive French restaurants from the public. COMMODITY FETISHISM! learn about it.

If you eat the meat, but you are not even man enough to watch the process for yourself...watch...this is how we humans kill animals.

          I'm not a vegetarian, but I wish I was!

If there was a way to control the production of the meat I have to eat I would gladly do so. But I will eat my meat, and proudly despise and disgust this practise of cutting the throat of a living animal and then laughing on top of it.

Vegetarians however noble, are idiots, the only way to stop the cruelty to animals is through politics, not starving yourself from proteins. And this ritual of sacrifice is political and disgusting. So how does that make me a hypocrite?

Guys, either way you look at it, that cow is gonna die. Why not atleast kill it as a sacrifice for good luck for the team. I dont find it that extreme. It happens every day in Iran and elsewhere. its just part of the culture.
