Something tells me that this is a response to the "Lazio thread". I am not sure though.

That was just a fluke as a result of some internal problems. Overall Lech Poznan has always had a better record.

Poznan's biggest loss of all times came against Wisla Krakow. They lost 0-8.

While Poznan has won the Polish league 4 times (latest championship 1993), Wisla Krakow has won it 8 times(latest 2004).

So you see my friend, Wisla owns Poznan in all directions, hard and soft.

If you wanna consider their entire history then maybe you are right. But we are only lookinga t the 80s and 90s. Besides Lech Poznan is the most popular Polish club and has the best fans.

A survey conducted by Poland's biggest newspaper showed that Wisla Krakow is the most famous club in Poland. 35.6% of Poland's population holds Wisla Krakow closes to their hearts, whereas Lech Poznan has a shy fanbase of approximately 8.9%.

Nottingham Forest won the European Cup twice back in the late 70s/early 80s. Now they are in League One - 3rd tier in English football.

Dynamo Dresden once ruled East German football before reunification, and now they are in like 3rd tier of German football as well.

So unless you Mr McElroy have some Iranian playing for Lech or links to Poland in any sort of way, or the fact that IF our very own the-ali supports Lech Poznan......then again since that is not the case, I feel supporting some random has-been Eastern European club is worthy of your latest 'My Latest and Greatest' moment of goozoo, looloo, and football taharat.

p.s. Legia Wasraw own Lech's ass too

None of what you say negates the fact that Lech Poznan were a powerhouse in Europe.
