wow what a performance! even against an 11 man defense we created 6 95% opportunities but unfortunately the finishing was not there. absolute domination. juve had 3 chances (all del piero), 2 of which where stupid defensive mistakes and one off a counterattack when we were playing 3-1-2-4. as for the ref, he robbed us of 2 clear penalties where chiellini body checked ruud in the box, then another juve defender deflected ruuds goalbound shot with his hands, and chiellini body checked drenthe again but never got a yellow, let alone the deserved red (the commentator said "that was assault").

the only bad things we did today was stupid defensive mistakes and finishing. we dont usually have a problem with finishing so i dont care about that, but if we can only fix our defense then i dont see any team better than us in the competition. if we crash out again, it will only be because of our defense.

LOL. he gave the top 3 passes of the year in this game alone. he does not do much but his through balls can change a game. had it not been for poor finishing he would have created 3 goals.

drenthe put on a good show. he did have some mistakes because he is still a "potential" player but he is getting there. ramos i agree did not have a good game.

that doesnt need to happen for it to be a good pass, and it is kind of impossible when there are 8 center backs in the box at all times. instead it put the wingers in an excellent position to feed the strikers which is where they messed up. anyways, this was an excellent preparation game for the 2nd round. we know exactly what we have to do. the question is, can the defense become fixed?
