the saves Casillas makes are all match winning saves for any other big team in Europe!!

only R.Madrid could waste this talent. so many saves he made (like the torres shot he saved with his toes or the masherano shot that was superbly saved) but there pressure of liverpool was too much.
in a team like barca were the opponent gets very little chances, is where Casillas is so usefull.

but then he wouldnt be as good as he is now.

last season he was the most shot at goalie and conceded less than anyone
          this comes with experience

crisis doesn't hav to be financial.
we didnt expect to win champions league but at least get passed the second stage.
but i agree that we are not in a crisis and for example AC milan are currently in a worst situation

Real Madrid are preparing for a mass clear-out in the summer, with no less than 17 players being considered to be shown the exit door as the club looks to regenerate its squad, Sport report.

Whoever wins the presidential race will told by the outgoing administration that drastic changes are required and Sport believe that moves are already planned to start the operation.

Five players are certainties to leave; Julien Faubert's loan will not be made permanent while Jerzy Dudek, Michel Salgado, Fabio Cannavaro and Javier Saviola will all go.

Salgado has reached the end of an era at the club while Cannavaro's desire to finish his career in Italy will see him go back to Serie A.

Among the more unexpected players to have their stays at the club put in doubt are Royston Drenthe, Daniel Parejo, Christoph Metzelder, Javi Garcia, Rafael van der Vaart and Ruben de la Red.

Drenthe is set to be loaned out (good choice! ) and Metzelder will be told to look for another club. Meanwhile, Van der Vaart is thought to be low on confidence, having failed to break into the starting line-up, and is close to a departure, either via a loan or transfer.

The trio of youngsters are not considered to be at the level required, with current boss Juande Ramos having not been impressed with any of them enough to give them a chance in his side.

Four more surprising names then appear. Fernando Gago, Mahamadou Diarra, Guti and Gabriel Heinze (surprising??!! WTF?! he was the most likely) are all likely to have their situations analysed as the club look to rebuild.

Gago has suffered in recent big games for the Blancos, while Diarra's long-term injury looks to have seen him replaced in the side by his namesake Lassana, Heinze continues to cast doubts about his temperament and Guti will have to show that he can still play at the highest level, according to the report.

The last quartet could yet win their place back at the club, but Perez allowed no less than 16 players to leave in 2003 after a successful run and, while that proved to be the beginning of his downfall, it seems as though repeating such an exodus has once more become an eminent possibility after Madrid's Champions League humiliation.

dream on... he won the league 2 times in a row with us + the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and so on, and now that our team is UNSTABLE yet in 2nd place in la liga, and made the last 16 despite a squad having to be completely chanegd next year, he is happy here.

We win the league twice in a row, give you Barca fans a breath this year, and the domination will resume next year.
