5-0 full time.
benzema was our worst player. aside from his goal he was useless. higuain deserves to start over him. crystiana is finally starting to catch up to the level of his teammates, and it seems he brought his unusual man u luck (scoring goals according to destiny randomly). xerez parked the bus the first half hour so we only scored 1, but then they played football and we scored 4 more. ruud came in late and had 2 chances and converted one. the team is still nowhere near gelling together but i guess for now it was a decent display. so far the team is getting good results and scoring when it matters. the performance needs to be better on the eye though which it will in time.

Real Madrid Star Ruud van Nistelrooy Injured Against Xerez - Report
The extent of the injury should be known later today...
Ruud van Nistelrooy got on the score sheet for Real Madrid against Xerez last night and in the process suffered another injury setback.
Dutch striker van Nistelrooy scored Madrid's final goal in the 5-0 rout of the Primera Division newcomers at the Bernebeu but according to reports in the Spanish press he has possibly suffered a torn thigh muscle in his left leg.
Madrid lead thanks to an early strike from Cristiano Ronaldo before a flurry of late goals in the final fifteen minutes completed the comprehensive win for Los Merengues.
The 33-year-old was introduced as an 80th minute substitute for Ronaldo and scored with just a couple for minutes remaining on the clock. It was van Nistelrooy's first goal for Madrid since scoring for the Blancos against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League last October.
He had only recently completed a comeback after knee surgery last year which ruled him out of football for almost nine months.
