the lakers dont even have bynum in the lineup. i would take them over the spurs at this point. hopefully nash and the suns can have a good comeback in the upcoming games though

as long as my hit on kenyon martin goes through, the nuggets are going all the way as stephen A predicted at the beggining of the year

Rockets will be lucky to even make the playoffs now without Yao... oooh big deal they still won once or twice more with him out, lets see how long it last! same goes for Nuggets they might not even get in, we'll see...

2nd of all if everyone would have gone with the Regular Season matchups then the whole Playoffs would be predictable once they ve started because of your Regular Season Assumption theory...
In 2000, the New York Knicks (yes my team, and always will be) got swept by the Raptors in the season I don t know how old were u back then to remember this, but they swept the Raptors in the playoffs and it was a matter of 4th and 5th seat not 1-8 or 2-7.....I actually watch games and compare and balance talents and teams rather than just pulling up scores from the previous matchups
what does this example have to do with anything? freak accidents happen all the time in the playoffs. the fact is that the lakers are constantly at #1 or #2 in the tightest western conference race in 30 years, and have gone the past 2 months without their 13 pts 10reb 2 block big man or our defensive stopped trevor ariza.

Once we get these 2 back (and we will soon enough), no team will be able to beat the lakers 4 times. we're talking about phil jackson, kobe bryant, and derek fisher- three solid veterans, along with gasol and radmanovic who's been in championship games with spain and serbia, farmar who went far with ucla, etc.

Right now the spurs are the only other tough competitor

                            Freak Accidents?
obviously u didn t watch the games
Carter was scoreless in game 1 and 5 points in game 2
so that means that in the playoffs it s different and coaches prepare their team differently

Lakers are playing excellent...but I think that if 4 or 5 teams that I mentioned play up to their potentials, then the lakers can t beat them
but right now they are one of the favorites no doubt
