Trust me, all we need is an out-and-out striker who is good with his head, can hold the ball and can get goals from crosses, and stays upfront all the time. That is something we have lacked especially in those losses with Citeh, West Ham, and Bolton where someone like Anelka or a Van Nistlerooy could have made a real difference.

Not to mention Saha having a love for nurses

No thanks. You - rather your bitter rivals since PSG seems to be your team - can keep him and his over-priced tag reserved for the likes of Abramovich and Calderon.

The word on the streets here is KK wants David Bentley from Blackburn & the Wigan keeper ***kland (if they go down and we stay up).
Alex from chelsea came on the scene after he was dropped yesterday when mr John Terry came back from injury and took his place.
But more than anythin is 2 centre-halfs and 2 full backs and the agents here in newcastle are looking all over the world for the perfect back 4 who can keep a clean sheet.

Now I can sleep tight, Bayern has him next season.

Man United are interested in Phillip Lahm to cover both full-back positions

                oh God.

Kevin Keegan may have lost the plot in agreeing to return to Newcastle, but at least he has hasn't lost his sense of humour. Squirming in his seat during the media inquest into Newcastle's painful 5-1 defeat by United, Keegan was asked about future transfer targets and produced a commendably self-deprecating response.

"We'll look at anybody," said Keegan. "We're looking at Barcelona players because you never lose your optimism in this game. We've looked at Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco, all of them."

Given Newcastle's current plight, they would have trouble securing the services of Lionel Blair, let alone Lionel Messi such is the level of concern surrounding the club following Keegan's second coming.
Six games into his second spell and Newcastle have yet to win a game. Four defeats, two draws and they now find themselves sucked into a fight for Premier League survival. Keegan has never been a master tactician, relying on his famed motivational skills to get the best out of players.

And he is going to have to summon up those powers of inspiration if he is to halt what at the moment looks an unstoppable slide towards relegation. "We've got it within us to play well but what we haven't found yet is the ability to sustain that," said Keegan.
"We know we have to get to 40 points or somewhere like that and then we can start to look at how we can improve things for next season. There are different stages to this club at the moment and the immediate one is staying in the Premier League, which we're not yet sure to do unless we get the points.
"Then we'll start to think about what we need to do to set this place alight."

Benzema is not really that kind of player. A striker for Man U......hmm im trying to think.....

David Villa would be a great choice, with the way Valencia are in now, a move to Man U would be tempting.

He's no Jan Venegoor or Scott McDonald but:P

Manchester United have trumped Liverpool for teenage prospect Scott Wootton.

The People says the England youth international from the Wirral had been with the Anfield club since he was 12, but he and his family were upset when he was offered only a short-term deal to stay.

Wootton turned down the contract and was immediately picked up by United who offered him the chance to be a professional - after just one run-out in the under-18 side last week.

It is a major slap for Rafa Benitez's club and insiders reveal Wootton left because he thought there were too many foreigners at the club's academy and his way would be blocked.

And the size of his potential was quickly spotted by eager United.
