the MLS is not bad, for one thing, being a die hard houston dynamo fan and all.. the houston dynamo lost their lead central defender ryan cochrane in the draft (the man that would of guarded Bare).. the team is off pace in defense.. they arent formed well for counter attacks.. even with their undefeated pre-season before the pacific championship, de rosario, davis and mullan did not play this game. the houston dynamo have so many good players that they cant put draft protection on all of them, 2nd.. the houston dynamo trashed sydney fc 3 - 0. basically what im saying is that DC United to New England Revolution would probably of done ALOT better in that game.
irans pro league is weaker than americas mls.. irans pro league is better than saudis shitty league. the mls is stronger than ANY asian league
i personally think the pro league is better than most gulf leagues

i'm sorry what was the score againt osaka????

the mls alone is at another level than it was just 4 years ago.. its currently the fastest growing league on the planet.. im still unsure why you guys bash the mls so bad, dont look at the LA Galaxy and think that thats the strongest team in the mls because if anything, their currently the weakest... give me a break.. go look at the MLS All star game as an example.. teams like Chelsea FC, Celtic have been trashed (and theres no team chemistry whatsoever in the all star game) dont kid yourselves.
i PERSONALLY believe the MLS is better than englands 2nd league.. but thats my opinion, most of you who bash the MLS seem like you haven't watched any games, you guys should rewatch the mls final last year (Dynamo vs NE)
honestly no joke and not trying to be ass but every time i try to watch MLS i fall asleep man. even the crowd is sleep. they are just munching on their fooooood and drinking up the beeer. MLS more boring then watching baseball. that's how bad it is.

but we all got our opinion and you like MLS which hey it's all good.

read what you first quoted to, the houston dynamos defense is completely off.. did you even watch the game? obviously sounds like you didn't. 5 of osakas goals came off counter attacks. we lost our lead central defender right after the MLS Cup, the position has not been filled and eddie robinson was not in.. i mean come on 2 main defenders not in the game? come on wtf. neither dwayne de rosario (key to our attack) nor davis played. Osaka's semi-final win against the Los Angeles Galaxy was 1-0.. hello this is the team houston dynamo takes out 4 - 0 last season.. do you honestly think football has matchups like basketball where certain teams can beat certain teams? im not trying to be an ass either as we all have something that brings us together (TM), but MLS has changed.. the play in the MLS is not that of the EPL or other top leagues in the world, however it is better than most professional leagues around the world.. dont be naive and call it the "mickey mouse league" or a joke because thats what naive people who know nothing about football call it. I dont know how you can say the MLS is more boring than baseball.. wtf? its football ffs.. footy is always more entertaining than baseball.. even if your watching france's 2nd league..

Yeah, J-league is pretty young like MLS.
And I believe football isn't that popular in Japan like the US.
Japanese prefer baseball and sumo to football.
            In short, MLS sucks.

The mexican league is wayyy better than the MLS. Teams like Al-Sadd Qatar, Al-Hilal Saudi, or Al-Wasl UAE would beat these teams like nothing. I've seen MLs games, and I've never seen 4-5 passes in a row.

thats funny because the houston dynamo have an undefeated record against Club America and eliminated them from the Superliga, they even beat Pachuca FC.. those two are the top clubs of mexico.. you havent watched more than a few games.. the dynamo have alot of 3 - 5 passes back to back multiple times in one game.. and of course houston is not the average MLS team.. they actually play alot like an average team in the bundesliga.. there more than a bit tactical.. theres multiple players that can dribble, cross and shoot.. these guys dont make it look as smooth as players from barcelona or bayern munich, but they do it

Its great houston beat CA in the group stage, but what team won the tourny? Pachuca did. South American teams would own MLS teams. Can we just admit the MLS sucks, please?

in the tournament houston lost to penalities to pachuca, but before the superliga houston beat pachuca fc 2 - 0 in the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup. the mls does not suck.. my main point has been that the mls is better than the J-League.. there is no furthermore arguement, every forum i go to.. the more football educated people seem to understand that, but the ignorant ones dont.. start changing your mindsets and understand that it isnt shit

LOL, well maybe they will beat Hong Kong Union.

SEOUL, South Korea -- David Beckham was the only one of five Los Angeles Galaxy players to convert in a penalty shootout and the Major League Soccer team lost to South Korea's FC Seoul in an exhibition game Saturday.

After the match ended 1-1, Seoul won 2-1 in the shootout thanks to four saves by goalkeeper Kim Ho-jun.

"We were disappointed to lose on penalties but penalties are like that -- there has to be a winner and a loser," Beckham said. "The overall play of the team in the first 30 minutes was good, some of the best football I've played with the Galaxy."

Every Beckham touch was applauded by the crowd that filled just half of the 65,000-capacity Seoul World Cup Stadium.

"The fans were giving me thumbs-down before the penalty so when I scored, I gave them the thumbs-up," Beckham said. "It was all a bit of fun."

The Galaxy had the better of an energetic first half, but the game slowed considerably after the break.

After just six minutes, Beckham was brought down by Lee Chung-young and the former England captain exchanged words with the young Korean.

In the 20th minute, Beckham set up the opening goal, floating a freekick into the penalty area, where Alan Gordon slotted the ball past Kim from close range.

Seoul equalized 10 minutes later when Jung Jo-gook scored from the penalty spot.

Beckham was the first player up in the shootout and blasted his kick high into the net, but Kim wasn't beaten again.

It was the opening leg of the American team's preseason East Asian tour. The Galaxy will play against Shanghai-Hong Kong United in Shanghai on Wednesday and then travel to play Hong Kong Union on March 9.
