driano's behaviour appears to be growing increasingly unpredictable once again, with the gifted striker now informing local media in Brazil that he must be called The Emperor...
Originally, the on-loan Inter man told the local press that only his form at Sao Paolo could see him regain the Emperor tag.
Now, though, he seems to have a change of heart.
"When I first got here, I said that people wouldn't be right to call me l'Imperatore yet," he blared.
"However, I've changed my mind now. You have to call me that from now on.
"I am l'Imperatore. I deserve this nickname because I've worked very hard to achieve what I have so far. I won't have this destroyed."
The 25-year-old is in deep trouble at Sao Paolo after first being suspended due to a minor headbutting incident, and then arriving late and leaving early from training on Friday.
He has already been fined 40% of his wages, and club officials have told the press that they are considering his future.
