Capello Anounces 23 Man England Squad

Having originally named a squad of 30 for Wednesday's France freindly (which is so annoyingly placed because i wont be able to watch it as i have a french speaking test the next day...yes, i do see the irony)....anyhow, Capello reduces teh squad to 30.

Gabriel Agbonlahor(aston villa), Ashley Young, Shaun Wright-Phillips(chelsea), Jermaine Jenas(tottenham), David Wheater and Jermain Defoe (portsmouth) are dropped, while Scott Carson and Matthew Upson are injured.

Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson comes in to replace Carson.

David Beckham retains his place in the squad and could get the chance to win his 100th England cap in Paris!!!!!!

Jenas scored the opening goal of Capello's reign in the friendly win over Switzerland last month, while Wright-Phillips got the winner, but that obviously doesnt matter.... good on capello, not taking past achievements into account!

Aiii, just seen it on sky sports news.

The thing is with England, even they are not even playing in Euro 2008 the media still pumps them up and portraits them as the worlds best.

The other thing is bloody Beckham, for godness sake, i ope he plays that 100th game, i'm sick of seeing him on the news all day.

I'm sure the starting 11 are the same as they were in the last 4 years with the exception of the keeper.

All i hope for is for Owen not to get injured.

It shouldnt come up twice at the same time!! "This forum requires that u leave 30 secs between posts", so how is it that two posts within 1 sec are allowed?
